Show Notes

Thank you #CatchSitkaSeafoods and #ACMEHOMESWA for your continued support!  All of season 3's episodes are dedicated to my father, who passed away on December 29th, 2021.  I love and miss you, Dad.

I'm so excited for you all to listen to our next guest, and his name is Kenny Russaw.  Kenny was a teammate at Central Washington University back in the mid-1990s.   He was one of the best wide receivers EVER to play at Central and someone I looked up to during my playing days.   Today, Kenny is the Regional Director at Side, the only real estate brokerage that transforms agents into businesses. They exclusively partner with top producing agents to create, grow, and power your own business, without the cost, time, or risk.

In this episode, you will hear Kenny and I talk about topics I wish we had talked about years ago.  You will learn about how Kenny grew up and his mother's important role in his life.   His dad was in the military and moved around often, which is how they settled in the Tacoma, WA, area.

You will hear Kenny and I dive deep into discussing diversity, perseverance, accountability, the ability to apologize, and why patience is so essential as fathers.  He says, "Patience is a struggle, and as dads, we must always be evolving!"  Kenny ends this episode with some excellent advice for us all:

  • Be present and always show Affection and LOVE!
  • Teach Accountability to your children
  • Admit your gaps as a father and attack them.
