St. Gemma had a personal relationship with her Guardian Angel.  She could see him with her own two eyes, those of her body.  They were friends.  They talked to each other.  They prayed together.  He watched over her, as she napped.  She wrote, Jesus, true to His Promise that He would never leave us alone, gave her a Guardian Angel who never left her side.
