Episode 93: Brenton and Phil from Squid Ezy

This week we are joined by a couple of blokes who have recently taken over the hugely successful South Australian fishing tool, the Squid Ezy. This is a great utensil that makes cleaning squid a lot more simple for all anglers and home chefs alike! We spoke to the previous owner in episode 44, so it is great to get an update on the brand, how Brenton and Phil came to own the business and how they went at the recent boat show!

As always there is also heaps of fishing news including:

·      PIRSA launch their Snapper Recovery Info page

·      Mullet restocked into Lake George in the South East

·      Updated Port River Dolphin rules

·      Snapper bag limits doubled in the South East

·      Trial of WA style Crayfish pots for professionals.

We also wrap up another successful boat show, launch a November Surf Fishing Photo Competition thanks to Savage Tackle and feature the Shimano Grappler Travel Rod as our Tackle Item of the week.

Our fishing reports includes Rohdey discussing his fishing exploits on his recent holiday to Port Douglas, while we also chat about the Port Augusta Kingfish firing and the Whiting fired during recent Northbank Comp at Wallaroo.
