This week we are joined by Steven and Ashley, the 2 guys who are busily preparing to run the Port Lincoln Tuna Comp in March this year. We are super excited to be fishing the comp this year so its great to hear from 2 experts about what to expect and how we can best prepare for the comp! A massive 2024 competition is on the cards with a record number of boats expected, a big Calcutta prize pool and the addition of a Thursday night event at Jumpship Brewing.

We also chat about all the news in SA fishing, including:

·       Freshwater fish stocking in Mt Gambier.

·       Dead sharks, fish and crustaceans wash up at Eight Mile Creek in the South East.

·       A record tuna sale in Japan

Plus we have all the latest fishing reports, including tuna finally showing up, discuss our own session on the Kingfish and talk about the knife jigs we used as our tackle item of the week.

We also preview our 100th episode party, at the Colonel Light Gardens RSL on Sunday Jan 21! We hope you can all come along for what is sure to be a great afternoon!
