Episode 108: Jet Worsteling, IFISH

This week we are joined by another big name in the Australian fishing scene, Jet Worsteling, the heir to the IFISH throne and gun young fisho! Having previously had his dad Paul on the show we were keen to get Jet’s perspective on fishing, filming the TV show and his experience in fishing in South Australia. Jet is still in school and has caught more fish than most of us could ever dream of so is well worth listening to!

We also have a bumper news segment, with plenty to cover including:

  • An update on our survey about the idea of a rec fishing license in SA.
  • RecFish SA are going on the road for a series of forums around the state. 
  • A local fisho bitten by a Great White while removing a hook. 
  • The upper slot limit on Wrasse has been removed.
  • Snapper fingerlings released on the Yorke Peninsula.

Plus, we have the fishing hotspots around the state, including barrel sized Tuna from the South East and give a report of our own recent fishing for whiting and squid on Yorkes and Cod at Happy Valley Reservoir.
