Ruby Bridges was the first African American child to desegregate the all-white William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans when she was only six years old. She and her family endured great hardships in order to support the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s and provide better education for African American children. 

In this episode, Leona and Matthew discuss Ruby's courage and extraordinary ability to forgive those who bullied and persecuted her. Ruby Bridges is truly a hero!
