00:01:34.560 --> 00:01:36.640 Matthew 28, verse 18. 00:01:38.239 --> 00:01:40.079 Through 20, it says. 00:01:40.879 --> 00:01:47.280 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 00:01:47.439 --> 00:01:58.079 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I've commanded you, and lo, I'm with you always, even to the end of the age. 00:01:58.400 --> 00:01:59.040 Wow. 00:01:59.439 --> 00:02:01.519 Let's take a look at this verse. 00:02:01.760 --> 00:02:15.520 This verse is quoted a lot, but if we slow down and look at this verse, it's kind of polarizing because it says, All authority on earth in heaven has been given to me. 00:02:15.759 --> 00:02:19.039 Have you ever just stopped and thought about how much authority that is? 00:02:19.680 --> 00:02:32.960 Think about all the authority that comes out of the oval house, or all the authority that comes from all the different nations of this world, or all the individual authority that people have, and business owners and business leaders, and big companies have. 00:02:33.120 --> 00:02:35.360 Think of all the authority in the world. 00:02:35.680 --> 00:02:38.879 Jesus said, All authority on earth has been given to me. 00:02:39.120 --> 00:02:43.599 Then on top of that, he says, and all authority in heaven has been given to me. 00:02:43.759 --> 00:02:46.879 Y'all, this is a lot of authority. 00:02:47.759 --> 00:02:50.719 Take a moment and imagine if you had it. 00:02:51.199 --> 00:02:52.879 How would you use it?
