African American women celebrated in coloring book by Amber Monroe

Amber Monroe, is the artist and creator of a coloring book that celebrates the beauty of diversity, body positivity, and the unique features of African-American women. Each page is a representation of the unique beauty founded in shared experiences as diverse women. From the intricately drawn hairstyles to the carefully crafted features and nuances, to the inspiring affirmations, her intentions  were to showcase the immense versatility and richness that lies within each person. 

Amber dedicated her coloring book to her mother , sister and daughter. She said " I dedicate this love letter of diversity to you. Thank you for showing me what it means to embrace all that I am as a woman. You have both been my constant support, my guiding lights, and my inspiration since I was old enough to hold a pencil, drawing fashion sketches at the kitchen table late into the night." " Through your unwavering love--and unwavering belief in me--you are as much a part of this book as I am." She also said  "To my daughter, this book is also dedicated to you. May you never question the beautiful face that stares back at you in the mirror. May you always carry pride in your heart knowing you are a precious child of God."
