Dr. McCauley has dedicated her career to improving pets' quality of life. After graduating from Colorado State University, she spent six years in general practice before pioneering the field of Veterinary Rehabilitation. In 1998, she opened the first Veterinary Rehabilitation Clinic and created the first underwater treadmill for dogs. She has taught at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute for 14 years and is certified in Acupuncture, Chiropractic therapy, and Canine Sports Medicine.
As an international lecturer and author, Dr. McCauley has earned several awards, including the 2011 Iams AARV Award and the 2015 AHVMA Holistic Practitioner Award. She also works as a locum at the Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine.

He is originally from Brazil, moved to the U.S. in 2005, and earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from IUPUI in 2009, graduating with top honors. He then obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012, where he and his wife adopted their first dog, Ringo.
After working in orthopedics and sports medicine, he combined his expertise with his passion for animals, earning his canine rehabilitation certification in 2015. In 2017, he founded TheK9PT, initially as a mobile practice to improve access to canine rehabilitation. By 2020, the business expanded into a hybrid model with in-home and in-clinic sessions in Irving Park, Chicago.
A leader in the field, Dr. Francisco mentors other canine therapists, teaches at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and serves as President of the APTA’s Animal Physical Therapy Special Interest Group.

Dr. McCauley has had a lifelong passion for helping as many pets as possible live an optimal quality of life. Dr. McCauley was on faculty at Canine Rehabilitation Institute for 14 years and has taught thousands of veterinarians, physical therapists, and veterinary technicians the art of Canine Rehabilitation. She is certified in acupuncture and chiropractic therapy and is board certified in canine sports medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. McCauley is an International lecturer and contributing author in many textbooks and journals. She was awarded the 2011 Iams AARV Award of Excellence in the Field of Rehabilitation and the 2015 AHVMA Holistic Practitioner of the Year Award. She does locum work at the Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine, stepping in as head of the Integrative Medicine Department several times a year.
Dr. McCauley owns Red Tail Rehab, a mobile canine rehabilitation practice in North Carolina. She began Optimum Pet Vitality in 2020 to teach professionals and pet parents different ways to help their clients and pets achieve Optimum health. With this online teaching platform, Dr. Laurie is empowering people all over the world to help pets have an Optimum Quality of Life.

Dr. Jones attended Weber State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion in 2014. After working in the health field for 3 years she decided to return to school. She graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in August of 2020 and specializes in techniques for pediatrics and pregnancy, but also loves to serve the whole family no matter what age.
Another unique certification she has is animal chiropractic from the AVCA (American Veterinarian Chiropractic Association). She has a passion for roping and rodeos, loves to serve animals, and has additional specialized training in equine adjusting. Dr. Angelo Marinakis is passionate about health, fitness, and wellness. He is originally from Canada where he completed his undergraduate work at the University of Toronto. After completing his undergrad Dr. Angelo entered the chiropractic program at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated in June of 2000.
Dr. Angelo moved to Vermont after graduation and practiced family wellness chiropractic in the snowy Green Mountain State for 14 years before moving to Texas in June 2014. After taking a one-year break from active practice (when he worked to develop a training program for a local dog facility), Dr. Angelo returned to chiropractic in August of 2015 and now operates practices in Round Rock, TX, and San Marcos, TX.
