These stories are mostly from Seafarers so there is some salty language. Tuck the kids into their racks, make them sweep the deck, or send them down to the engine room to look for a bucket of steam. Ursula is so salty that her new born baby has a discharge from a tugboat. She is a walking recruitment poster for the U.S. Merchant Marine. A second generation Maine Maritime graduate, she details the differences between a normal college life and that of a maritime college life. We also talk about the squid people of Asia, wonder why fisherman enjoy flirting with getting run over by ships, and the Jones Act.
