Meet the Herd: Conversations with Bruce Anderson
Show Notes

Hello and welcome to the EQUUS Film & Arts Fest Podcast, the premiere program for horse lovers who have a passion for horses in film, art and literature.

In this episode, Lisa and Julianne talk about Bruce Anderson, Julianne's partner, and how the two of them became involved with the festival in 2015. From submitting a trailer for their documentary, "The Edge: Bruce Anderson-Natural Humanship," directed by Trinidadian filmmakers James O'Connor and Dylan Quesnel of The Art of Storytelling, to hosting an annual EQUUS Tour Stop in their hometown of Camden, SC, Bruce and Julianne have spent a good amount of time on the festival team. Here they discuss the film, as well as other film projects such as the Spotlight Rescue Series, produced with Julianne's students in the Fairfield County School District in partnership with the festival.

Julianne and Lisa also discuss the upcoming 5th annual spring EQUUS Film and Arts Fest Tour Stop in Camden, SC on April 17-19. You'll hear what it takes to plan and organize a tour stop and how this city has come together for the past four years to welcome the visiting filmmakers, authors and artists and provide exciting opportunities for equine and film lovers alike. The tour stop is sponsored by The Marley Project in partnership with The City of Camden, The Arts Center of Kershaw County and Camden's vintage Little Theatre.
