We have heard his name come up quite a few times from former guests who grew up playing ball in Southern California. Erron Maxey is in the House! We are honored to have E-Money on the show to learn about his experiences in hoops and to also educate ourselves and our listeners about topics that are bigger than basketball. This one ranks high as one of our favorites!
Maxey grew up during a special era of basketball. The Riverside County Player of the Year went on to play his college hoops at Providence. At 6’6 he was asked to play a lot at the center position for the Friars where he battled every single night in the Big East Conference. He went on to have great success overseas where he is a 2x NZNBL Champion, NBL Best Sixth Man Award, and was also the Nike Battlegrounds King. Maxey shares great stories about ABCD & Nike Camp, Providence, Nike Battlegrounds, Wild Ball, his experiences overseas, Jermaine Barnes, Keith Closs, Lamond Murray, his journey with Crohn's disease, TBT, and MUCH more.
