It’s about time we got a Villanova Wildcat on the show! And who better than a member from that National championship team in ‘85? Chuck Everson hops on the podcast and shares his journey in hoops for an episode of great stories and plenty of laughs.
The 7-footer was an important glue guy to Villanova’s title team and program. Known as a guy who keeps in touch with all members of the program (even to this day) are the things that we see as important pieces to the puzzle and the difference between good teams and GREAT teams. He went on to be a 6th round pick by the Utah Jazz and has remained well involved with the Villanova program. Chuck shares all about his journey in hoops, recruitment, choosing Villanova, Coach Massimino, Pearl Washington, Ed Pinckney, Reggie Williams, Clyde Drexler & Phi Slama Jama, The Perfect Game, the NBA draft process, Charles Barkley, Jay Wright’s Legacy, the future of Villanova basketball, his podcast titled “The Big East Rewind”, and MUCH more.
