We have another member from that amazing Flying Illini team! Stephen Bardo is our guest today and believe us when we say it’s a GOOD one! Stephen shares his hoop journey from beginning to end in an episode filled with awesome stories.

Stephen Bardo starred at Carbondale High School. He went on to be the starting point guard for the Flying Illini where he helped lead his team to a memorable Final Four. He was the Big10 Defensive Player of the Year and later selected 41st overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1990 NBA Draft. He had a successful career in the NBA, CBA, and Overseas and also found success off the court as a broadcaster earning himself an Emmy award. This episode includes great stories about Coach Lou Henson, Kendall Gill, Chris Jackson (Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf), Dominique Wilkins, Draft night, experiences overseas, journey into broadcasting, Bardo’s Breakdown and MUCH more!
