Not In My House (A Basketball Podcast)
We have a strong love for basketball and the doors that it can open outside of the game itself. We love to give current and former players, coaches, artists, and historians their recognition and the platform they deserve to tell their story and teach our listeners about the game and applying lessons we learn from hoops to everyday life. We don't care for hot takes, we don't care for debates but we do care about giving back to the game and giving people the recognition they deserve for their hard work, dedication, their experiences and their knowledge to give our listeners and ourselves a better understanding of the game, the business, and life beyond hoops. We also like to have have fun! Any Questions? Suggestions? You can email us at Notinmyhousepodcast@gmail.com Much Love to you all! Twitter - @NOTINMYHOUSEpc Instagram- @not_in_my_house_podcast

The Elam Ending has brought a lot of excitement to the game of basketball. This rule has helped the TBT grow into what it is today and contributed to the 2020 NBA Allstar game becoming one of the most competitive Allstar games we have seen in years. I’m sure many of you have wondered where this idea came from and how it originated, but now you get to learn all about it from the creator himself. Dr. Nick Elam joins us today to share his story and the exact origins and skeletons of the Elam Ending.
Dr. Nick Elam has a strong love for the game of basketball. Some have been critical of his idea, but those who have either played or seen the Elam Ending in action have become believers in it and agree it can help better the game of basketball. The research and numbers that Elam has to backup his vision is pretty remarkable. He will have an educated and eye-opening response to every argument brought up, even for those who love their memorable buzzer beaters or don’t like seeing games end on free throws.
This conversation was a true honor for us. We of course loved learning all about the dedication, time and effort put into the Elam Ending, but we also got to learn more about Dr. Nick Elam himself. Like any game decided on an Elam Ending, this episode won’t disappoint.
Thank you Dr. Nick Elam!
