Show Notes

What a pleasure this one was. Von Wafer drops in to hang out with us today for an episode that we know that all of you will love. The stories and advice that Wafer shares to young hoopers coming up are extremely valuable and if you truly listen, then it might just make a difference.

Wafer was playing basketball ever since he can remember. He was a 2003 McDonald's All-American before helping jumpstart the Florida State basketball program. He went on to have a successful NBA and overseas career that included averaging over 30 Points Per Game in China. Wafer shares great stories about his unique high school experience, McDonald's All-American experience, LeBron James, Leonard Hamilton, Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen, Yao Ming, experience overseas, his desire to spread positivity in this world and MUCH more.

BIG thanks to Wafer for taking the time to hang out with us today. He was a great talent and he is very open with us that there were some bumps and mistakes made along the way in his journey but his desire to help and educate the youth coming up is something we really appreciate and admire. If there is anyone that we would bet on to be the next important role model to change the life of a young aspiring athlete, we without a doubt know that man is Von Wafer.

Thank you Von Wafer!
