Anstey was born and raised in Australia. He was an elite tennis player until the age of 17 when he was introduced to basketball. He had to learn the game quickly, but he was eventually selected as the 18th overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers, becoming the very first player to be drafted from Australia's NBL. He spent three years in the NBA and then some time in Russia & Spain. He is a legend in Australia where he was a 3x NBL Champion, 2x NBL MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, 2x Olympian, along with many other accolades. We get to hear all about his journey which includes fantastic stories about Shawn Bradley, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Dennis Rodman, Shaq, Andrew Gaze, beating Michael Jordan and the Bulls, the NBL, experience overseas, Voo-doo Lady, Olympics, his book titled "Tall Tales" and MUCH more.
