Audra Russell chats with author B. Reads.

Brittany, better known by her Pen Name— B. Reads, is a Self-Published Author, new to the literary scene. Born and raised in White Plains, NY, B. Reads has always had a love for reading and writing. With creative expression as her God-given gift, pen & paper were never too far from her reach. She's read countless books with a mixture of genres, but Urban and Contemporary Fictions always resonated with her, becoming her foundation for her own ground-breaking stories.

After years of reading the works of Black Literary greats, she knew it was her time to write her own story and create her own lane. Lies by the Gun is the first novel series from B. Reads, which dropped June 2020. She's a newbie on the block, but she's far from done! Her next novel series project titled, Smoke & Mirrors will be debuting in the near future!

We get into a game of "love them or hate them" about her characters, argue about the book's jaw-dropping ending, and share why self-publishing is really the only way to go!
