Ever recorded two thirds of a podcast with a toddler on your lap? I know have... and this is an illustration of the inspiration behind this podcast episode - "10 things to look forward to over the summer holidays." Or... maybe even more accurately... 10 things to help make the most of the summer holidays. As kids, there often seemed to be no downside to the summer holidays but as a parent, it can often be the case that beyond being carefree, summer holidays often present logistical challenges when it comes to balancing your career / business with spending more hands on time with the family. I'm blessed to be in varying online entrepreneurial and mummy groups and it is obvious that the change of routine can be disconcerting (and the mummy guilt that ensues from not being wholly keen on the summer break) - and it is with all of this in mind that this podcast episode was so important for me to create right now. It's for you. The mummy / daddy / family who wants to embrace the summer holiday wholeheartedly, without reservation, but doesn't quite know how to juggle varying responsibilities and schedules to enable you to do so.
