Sovereign and Good | Acts 12:1-11

This week, we explored Acts 12, where two very different outcomes (James’s death and Peter’s rescue) raise honest questions about prayer, suffering, and the sovereignty of God. The early church faced these moments not with easy answers, but with persistent faith and bold prayer. We saw that God’s power isn’t always revealed in the ways we expect, but He is always at work. Even in disappointment or confusion, His purposes move forward. This passage invites us to hold together both trust and tension as we follow a God who is always good, even when life isn’t always clear.
