Show Notes

This episode, with Edythe Richards, provides so much support in helping you find your next great job opportunity.  As a career counselor, nationally recognized expert on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), and Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), Edythe has helped thousands of Baby Boomers, Veterans, Recent College Grads, Immigrants, and Mid-Career Adults locate and sustain meaningful employment.

Edythe shares her tips/techniques to build your self confidence when you are in career transition, including:

·        Grieve the loss of your job – you may need to take a few days off just to release any negative feelings you have about the loss.

·        Process your feeling externally – your family, friends or a career coach can be a great sounding board for your emotions and help you chart the steps you need to take next.

·        No set time frame – everyone goes through this transition process on their own schedule, don’t think you need to be at a certain spot until you are ready to be there.

·        Be kind to yourself – you might not be able to control what happens around you, but you can control how you behave and represent yourself to the world.

I know you will want to listen to this episode several times to make sure you get all the great advice Edythe shares.  Please, send me your comments on this recording and don’t forget to share it with others.  Thank you!
