The Truth About w/ Pastor Del
In the present world, “truth" has become an endangered species. Absolute moral standards that once governed our society have been replaced with ambiguous placeholders. The erosion of truth is not just about distinguishing between fact and fiction, but also the deliberate replacement of traditional truth standards with corrupt values without any basis in truth.
The Truth About podcast explores the facts behind relevant issues that pertain to life, faith, and the current state of affairs, empowering listeners to engage thoughtfully and make informed decisions.

Welcome And The Big Question
SPEAKER_00Welcome to the truth about podcast.
SPEAKER_07Is truth absolute? The truth is absolute. This means if something is turnal, then the moment it becomes channel, it's truth to all time.
Meet The Ministry Leaders Panel
SPEAKER_13My name is Bishop Humphrey Awomaka. I came all the way from Lagos, Brangaria. I was the founding and senior pastor of World Based Assembly. Work for the Word of God, not the Word.
SPEAKER_11Come on.
SPEAKER_02Thank you, sir. Being used. Thank you. Amen.
SPEAKER_12Next. Good morning again or afternoon, whichever morning it is.
SPEAKER_02Next.
SPEAKER_01Good afternoon, everybody. This is a council here to play right. I have three ministries. I'm here's one I've done. Yes, no, you're good. Um that's a good um. So I want to tell you that I'm from State Line Transitions. It is a uh coaching, life coaching ministry. I'm using the scriptures to help people, and we are hailing in Parkton, Maryland, and I'm grateful to be here today.
SPEAKER_04Amen. Thanks.
SPEAKER_05Charlie Howard, the pastor of issues of life church ministries. We are 12 years old. Um we are in the border of Iran and Ben.
SPEAKER_14And then we're going to now come to our right. I am uh Ram Boss Hunt, and I'm associated with Dr. Mount County Church, Little Doctor.
SPEAKER_02All right. Good afternoon. My name is uh Maureen Count. I am the senior leader of Sarah and Israel Fellowship here in Denver, Colorado. Amen.
SPEAKER_04Larry Thomas, I'm the pastor of Death Baptist Church in Law Noble.
SPEAKER_11Amen.
SPEAKER_01My name is Elder Wanda Starts. I'm Alvin Curtain. I'm a social council.
SPEAKER_09I'm a evangelist and message to the I live right here in the road, Colorado, and I am the founder of Evangelism.
SPEAKER_04Um the first question I'm gonna pose, we're gonna just go right straight to the founder of Kalawala, and then we'll go up forward. So
Truth Versus Sin In Scripture
SPEAKER_04the first question is a possible panel is what is truth as it relates to scripture, and why is this blind under so much different?
SPEAKER_12Well, I think perhaps first thing we need to understand is before you could be an error, you need to know what the definition of what you and error of. Truth, the opposite of truth is not error. The opposite of truth is sin. And that's what we need to push. That folk understand about something because well, they just misunderstood it or this no, no, no. When you understand, when you misunderstand it and you still try to call it true, you are in sin. And we have to present this, you know, we get people get with so many different definitions of why they're in error. But opposed to what the Bible just tells us plainly why we're in error. So we need to make the point that people understand that the opposite of truth is error, is what they say, but the opposite of truth actually is flat seed. And that's what we need to practice at this day and age.
SPEAKER_04Amen. I'm gonna come to the right. I'm gonna ask this passion right here. A possibility she talked about uh the opposite of truth is sin, right? So uh with that being said, to this man of God right here, um, with this being said, she talks about how so truth is sin. Why are so many people walking in error and walking in sin and not gravitating towards truth?
SPEAKER_15So,
Feelings Replace Facts And Accountability
SPEAKER_15you know, I think that one of the biggest things, especially in our day, is filling us over facts. If I feel a certain way, that's truth to me. So subjectiveness is more, feels better than truth. Because truth makes you accountable. Truth keeps you in accountability.
SPEAKER_04Come on.
SPEAKER_15So when you can have non-accountability, when you say my truth, your truth, it keeps us unaccountable to God.
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_15And so what I feel is people like being being comfortable, truth makes us all uncomfortable. All uncomfortable. Wow. And so I think what's going on. I think the the big thing for us as believers is, and just in this world, is the world likes comfort. I think in Western society, we everything we're doing, AI is not about advancing health, it's about comfort. Yeah, and so everything is about comfort. And so when you start to speak truth, it goes against my comfortability. So wow. Amen. Amen.
SPEAKER_04Let's come to this time. Let's go to uh uh the bishop of Nigeria for the motherland. Uh we're kind of going on a script, but I want to stand his vein. He's talking about comfort. Why do people not want to be accountable in this area? You know, Paul talked about, yes, there would be a great fall of the way, but why are people now becoming so comfortable with or being so comfortable with not wanting to be uncomfortable because they don't want to be accountable?
SPEAKER_13Well, the interesting thing is that the Bible is futuristic.
Pleasure Culture And Different Destinations
SPEAKER_13Okay, and there is nothing happening now that is new to God.
SPEAKER_11Okay.
SPEAKER_13He would he he he wrote in the scripture for us to know that in the last days, thirst time shall come, men shall gather themselves, people who will teach them what they want to hear what would make them pleased and happy, because in the last days mentioned the lovers of pleasure than lovers of God. Wow. So some of these errors are built on pleasure, sexual perfection, all kinds of things, as far as there is a measure of pleasure in it, is acceptable to the human flesh. And once that is happening, it's very difficult for you to separate them out of it. Wow. If you build a company, if you build an entertainment industry here and build another industry, don't be surprised, this one will be free first before this one. So that's why people are combating the truth because it does not give them all the pleasure they want. God teaches, God wrote this in the scripture for us so that when we see these things happening, we will not feel we are misfit in the society. Yeah. We know that their destination is not our destination. So we don't come, we are not competing with the world. It's like if you get on the highway with your car, another person gets on the highway with their car, the speed they are driving differs because you may find somebody there who is driving from here to Okrugumba. Whereas you are just driving to the next store. So you don't start competing with the person because your car is better, your car is stronger. No, your destinations are not the same. Wow. So we are not competing with the world because our destiny is not true.
SPEAKER_04So we're going to do this over. Speak to the evangelists over the end. The evangelists in the Lord's Church, right? So Paul, right, talks about us as kingdom citizens, particularly because we're all leaders here in the Lord's Church. He's
Apologetics Starts With Knowing Truth
SPEAKER_04talking about, he talks about how we must apologetically defend the faithful great resilience. What are some of the strategies as kingdom leaders that we need to deploy to make sure that we apologetically?
SPEAKER_09Well, first of all, we have to know the truth. The truth, and and then we have to believe the truth. We have to believe what God's word says.
SPEAKER_04And um some of the, I think he said a strategy versus what are some of the strategies that we need to deploy to apologetically defend the truth.
SPEAKER_09Well, one of the truths that non-truth that I run into when I'm sharing Jesus with people and when I'm preaching, um, is that we don't believe that Jesus is God. We don't believe that. And we must first and foremost know that there's only one God and be able to tell them the truth that, and to tell them of his deity and be strong in what we're saying. And um, so that's one of the things that I follow I I find is that people um they don't believe that there's only one God. It's just hard for them to concede that. Um that's probably the biggest thing that I wanted. Wow.
SPEAKER_04Amen.
SPEAKER_03Amen.
Reaching Hearts And Hearing God
SPEAKER_03You sure I can God says in his word, he said that he doesn't look at man, he looks at what? The heart. The heart. And then it also say that only God knows the heart of man. So what is the strategy? If God is the image, is God is the likeness, I speak into folks' heart. When I begin to speak into folks' heart, folks hear the word of God. All right. But you got to speak into their heart. I got I got I got I got a lot of young. I still want to reach every day. Young men, dead children, and I'm talking about children from the age of 19 to 26 to 30. When I'm talking about young men from ages 40 to 45 to 50, you got them that's 50 that just gave up. They didn't come out of the church and they tell folks whatever they want to hear. And folks believe, just like he said social media, folks are believing it. That's right. True. But God's word is truth. He said, Many are called, but few are chosen. We are the few. All right. We are the few. Yes. And we got to stand on God's word, and that's truth. Jesus said, I am truth. He says the word was made fresh. Flesh, the word was made flesh and dwell among us. Yes, yes, yes. Is he walking in you? Come on. Is he talking in you? People seeing that walk and that talk. I have to do it every day. I'm telling you, I understand. I left here nine years ago. Hearing the word of God, good teacher. Sometimes it gets so rough. You see what I'm saying? I open my computer and I don't know what to say, I don't know where to go, and all of a sudden something. And guess who it be? My teacher.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's good.
SPEAKER_03I love it. My teacher. But when God speaks, we gotta listen.
SPEAKER_02Gotta hear them. That's the divorce. You gotta hear.
SPEAKER_03He told me one time, don't go there. He told me all week, don't go there.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, tuned in.
SPEAKER_03And the next thing I know, somebody was shooting 145 rounds.
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_03And I was behind my car like this. My God today. And the Lord said, I told you, don't go there.
SPEAKER_11Truth. Truth.
SPEAKER_03So we gotta trust and we gotta believe in what this word says. You gotta hear. Yeah. And you gotta know.
SPEAKER_11That's good.
SPEAKER_03He said that we, we, that means us. We know the truth and we know the error. How will we know? Because we got teachers.
SPEAKER_04Teachers, right?
SPEAKER_03Amen. Amen.
SPEAKER_04Amen. I'm gonna come over here to come up here to my left side.
SPEAKER_13Oh, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_13Can I contribute something that's trying to cover up? No.
SPEAKER_04Go ahead. Keep talking. Just keep talking, sir.
SPEAKER_13Okay.
Speak Truth Without Shame
SPEAKER_13There are a lot of things we can win with words. Because oftentimes people we speak to may not accept the facts in our presence. But when they that's why most people argue. When you're involved in an argument, you might not get immediate results. But one of the strategies is we must not be ashamed in pushing out the truth we believe in. It may not look like they're accepting it today, but someday they will accept it. Because it is true. Truth has power. That's why Jesus said the words and speaking, they are life and spirit. It has a kinetic force to bring changes. For it is the power of God unto salvation. We live in a society that so many Christians seem to have been dominated by the error, even though they have not been converted to error, but their mouths have been shut up. Don't yield to that. Even when speaking the truth makes you look like a stupid person. Keep speaking your convictions. Sunday, the result will be visible.
SPEAKER_11Very good. Very good.
SPEAKER_13Then leave the truth you speak. Don't allow the word their reaction to change. A man saw a snake in the fire and took the stick to bring out the snakes to save the snake from the fire. But the moment the snake came out, they tried to bring out the snake, the snake beat him. So the natural thing he would have done is to return the snake back to the fire. But he still saved the snake. And he said it is in the nature of the snake to find it. But it's in my nature to help. Someday the truth we leave will bring them to us.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Um I want to go back to Russell Sanjay's um testimony of the standing problem. That's what sinners do. That's what sinners do.
Discipleship That Keeps New Believers
SPEAKER_11Okay.
SPEAKER_01And what we're finding in evangelism is that people aren't truly getting saved. Because when they get saved, it's a seed that's pledged, and as Bishop has been saying. But we definitely need to take them through some discipleship for them to learn the best way.
SPEAKER_11That's good.
SPEAKER_01If we don't teach them to guide them, they will not have the equipped equipping that is necessary to make it. So they will return to old behaviors. Wow. It's like the children of Israel. They brought them out of slavery. But when the hard times came, they went right back to the bad habits at the head.
SPEAKER_09Wow.
SPEAKER_01And so the cycle shift is important. Except, first of all, soul when you I know times in pastoring, you hear the preacher say, Oh yeah, because I'm in have a big church, and I'm gonna bring all of these people in, and they had no clue what they were really saying. I told my husband, oh no. When they are coming into the church, when we get to 250, you start another one.
SPEAKER_10All right.
SPEAKER_01Because they will knock high. I am an adjunct professor of psychology. I understand the soulish realm. I understand deliverance ministry, and I'm telling you that they will take all of what they've brought to the church with them and leave with it and go along with it again. So until they are discipled, this is the kind of thing that will happen with them. So I want to encourage all of us, because it's not just the pastor's job, it's as a believer's job, because we are ministers of reconciliation, getting from darkness to the light and into kingdom with it. So when we can do that and disciple that, some churches have like a three-year program, some have a two-year program. Whatever way we have to do that, this is so crucial to maintaining the fruit that God has just given them by faith.
SPEAKER_04Very good. Very good. Amen. And I want to turn myself to the right, to uh a phenomenal pastor, Pastor Levy, Pastor Levy Thomas. Other questions for you, sir. So uh the woman of God, Pastor William, mentioned something about discipleship, and I think that's a very key point because we understand that discipleship is a part of the kingdom. Jesus gives us the blueprint, correct? Yes. So my question to you is is that why are so many people, uh, and then I have, and we have a parentheses, including those who once started in the faith, man of God, falling away from sound doctrine
Why People Fall From Sound Doctrine
SPEAKER_04and gravitating towards other teaching. Is that a discipleship problem?
SPEAKER_03Um I believe it is the discipleship problem from the vantage point of how we bring people in.
SPEAKER_04Um we overprocessed and under delivery.
SPEAKER_03I like something like you come in, once you're just the way you are, you don't have to change the teachman. Uh if you come in, your your life will be fantastic, and that's not true.
SPEAKER_04Teach the way of transgrades hard. So they have to they don't have a discipleship that brings them in for transformation over time that's radical. We often self-hold is immediate uniformity, and that's not the same as discipleship. There's a cost of discipleship 500%. And so if you're not willing to tell people out of there's a cause, they won't actually give themselves to the process. Disciple by definition is to follow. And so then the question is what are we following? So when you look at social media, you want more followers. Followers. So we really have to help people understand that discipleship is the abandonment. And everything else, but following the price. Well, I to that agree that we teach it accordingly. We must sacrifice and surrender everything. And so people fall away because we made a promise. We've undersold the process. I like that. You say we oversold the process. So then that way you think that uh as a believer, I don't have any problems, and that's not that's not the case. That's not the truth, right? The truth is that God said I would be with you through all of it, right? And so that's what we really gotta give people. So there's development and suffering. So we really gotta talk about discipleship, becoming comfortable with the suffering because the suffering is a part of the development, which is the deepening of discipleship. No, that's good. So I want to now come over to uh overseer Charlene Howard. So uh Pastor Larry phenomenally talked about phenomenally talked about the fact that discipleship overcome uh under delivery, right? So uh my question to you is what do you believe has caused our present culture to apart from the absolute truth standard?
Identity Crisis And Church Comparison
SPEAKER_06Oh my god, what I believe the truth of the matter is looking at my session for tomorrow, talking about this notion of the truth and identity. Somehow we have lost our way by looking at the other and trying to be like everybody else.
SPEAKER_11That's great.
SPEAKER_06It goes back to what Apostle Carla said at the beginning of the podcast of understanding that we have been uh disillusioned, we have we have accepted uh what we see, um uh the the reactions to what's going on in the way of the world, versus believing what God is saying. Come on, versus doing what we see God is showing us. The scripture talking about eyes haven't seen and ears haven't heard, and neither has it entered into the hearts of men and women and children of God, the things that God has prepared for them. So we're disillusioned by saying, Oh, well, look at that church with a thousand people and all the lights and the bells and the whistles, but issues of life, we have twelve people. And and and and that and that's okay, because because again, I understand my assignment. I still I got eight to five jobs, amen. And we have disciples that are that are following Christ of God, speak your truth to power. Um we are we are walking as certainly God has given it to issues of life. And so when we talk about this evangelism, just last second, we were out in the parking lot of our church, having church. See, when we were made to do that, come on, we we had this like scramble. Come on. But but it's a thing that should be continuous of being in the parking lot, being in the park, but I'm on here. This is the truth of the matter of understanding that there was the the the inner courts, the outer courts, and the holy of holies, that the temple of God, that when the beggar was at the gate. Come on here. Peter, they had to go in, they had to go in the gates before they got to the temple to pass the beggar. Come on here, to understand that when they got into the outer courts, then the inner court, then the holy of holies. So somehow, somehow we are believing what we're seeing today of the title. Somehow, 20 years ago, bishop, the title of bishop was the thing. So somehow, following the ways of this world, and instead of certainly listening to the things of what God has to say in terms of the eyes and the ears, um, and neither has it entered into the heart. Come on here. God is a God that He don't run about.
SPEAKER_12Yes, yes, yes, that's good. This is good.
SPEAKER_06I can do a new thing, and I can do a new thing suddenly. Glory to God. And so we gotta tap into the unknown, and this is what fear is. That's why the Lord says, I didn't give you the spirit of fear. Come on, because if we tap into the unknown, come on here, glory to God, then the gates of heaven, hallelujah, will open up and the gates of hell will not be able to prevail against you. How far are we willing to go? How deep are we willing to go? Trusting and believing in the truth of God's word. Come on, the truth that the Greek understand, it means glory to God, to reveal, to uncover.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, come on here.
SPEAKER_06We haven't seen uh and we don't even know what God has in store for us. So, so to your point, Bishop, of knowing that glory to God, how do we certainly reach the masses? Come on here. He said, If I be lifting us, yeah, I'll draw all men unto myself. We don't have to have new new stuff. We win, you know, we don't have to have rap and all and I'm not against any of that. But understand, we don't have to promote a whole lot of stuff. All we got to do is promote Jesus. He is the Lord, he is the king of the Lord, he is the Lord, we don't have to underdiver and underserve, and just know that he is and he is on my channel on screen.
SPEAKER_04I'm in my voice right now. Thank you, sir. Listen, I'm gonna wreck this whole. Can I break it? Yes, sir. Okay, so you mentioned something. Come on, and let me tell you I need y'all to come into the room and hear me with your good writing, right? So we're talking about the truth crisis, right? So I I just heard that and I'm gonna come to the right side. So uh I don't want to hear from a woman of God. So we're in a title-driven entitlement culture. All right, Miss Red. Come on, y'all. Talk about we're in a title-driven driven where people feel entitled to a title.
SPEAKER_06Whoa, entitled, right?
Titles Versus Servanthood In Leadership
SPEAKER_06That's the truth, crisis.
SPEAKER_04And the truth doesn't matter, is the chase of the title, but not transformation. Right? So the question is coming to the right. We're in this entitlement. I've been here for 10 years, so now I'm entitled to this. We're basically on the changes in leadership, whoever comes in, this is still my position. So we fight for titles and positions. So why are we so why is this culture still so entitled? Why are they why are they driven by titles? Because I believe before you get the title, you're already walking in it. Come on, son, that's just why are we in this title-driven culture?
SPEAKER_08Because we're not following God. Come on. The word of God tells us that when Jesus felt told us, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus came to be a servant. We don't want to be a servant. We want the title. Oh, you got to do that. We want to be elevated. We want people to recognize us. And our job is to point to Jesus. Our job is to represent him. He is our example, and we are to be the example to the world. And we're missing that because we're not allowing Christ to be shown in us. It's like I'm I'm being elevated, you know, in the natural. And it's like we're we're like the world. If I keep doing right, I'll get another position in another position. But in Christ, he came to serve us. When he watched the disciples' feet, he humbled himself. He's God. And he's coming and he's washing dirty feet. You know, we are not, you know, those with titles, we're not gonna touch somebody's feet. We're not gonna be humble, we're not gonna serve one another. We want to be served, we want that elevation. We want people to see us, and we're missing the point. We are to be Christ-like, we are to elevate him, to magnify him. And when we do that, and this is also just a lifestyle, we should represent what we believe. And a lot of times the things that are coming out of our mouth do not sound like the King James. It sounds like I flesh. It sounds like we're just talking and say, Oh, woe is me. I don't know what to do. That's not the Bible. I can do all things to Christ with me from the street. Greater is he that's in me than he that is in the world. So when I start talking, professing, walking like my God who who brought me here, who brought me out, you will see a difference. We will see a difference in the world because we're elevating him. I like that.
SPEAKER_04This is good. So I'm gonna I'm gonna go and you back over to Apostle Pell. So
Handling Entitlement And Demands For Elevation
SPEAKER_04Apostle Pell, speak from an apostolic perspective. Because what do you do, right? Uh what do you do? So, Apostle, we know that sometimes as we grow our churches, there are people that come in and people are gifted, right? And then you have the person that says truth, like, well, if I feel as though that I can't get elevated, then I'm gonna leave your church. How do you handle situations like that? How do we handle situations where if people feel as though that we don't elevate them, then they're gonna leave. And then sometimes I've made mistakes where I've put my hands on people out of retention, but not revelation. How do I deal with that? And no, they're an extravagant giver.
SPEAKER_12Well, first of all, I think uh well, so here is what 29 years they're gonna be 30 years old. The first time that we graduated a class from our um Bible institute was like eight years into ministry. So people shouldn't come in with that expectation. You should let them know you just don't get to this by doing this. It doesn't matter. And it's better, listen, you have to start sometime at different places in teaching. Like it's better to be ass up than to be ass down. And so that can be just uh a whole you never start with that type. I don't care if they came with a saying it, uh you know, ordination for whatever it is. You need to prove it. You know, the two birds up in the tree and the stuff, and that one said, I love you, I love you. The other one said, Prove it, prove it. So that's what has to happen. That's a good idea. You cannot do that because you know what? It's not so much as you trying to be all that, but you're setting them up for devil's meeting. Yes, the devil will tear them up. You sort of in a place where they or they claim to be in a place where they've not been trained, yes, and they've not been tried. Yes, because you're gonna, you know, if you find out people could really answer the questions that you ask them on paper, but when it comes to doing it, and they have to prove that. And and so a lot of times we don't give them a time that well, you do this, and by two years you can do it. You have to continue with the Lord, continue in doing those things, yes, and that's important. Now, Lord, well, I'm all over the place with it, but y'all hear what I'm saying, though.
SPEAKER_04I didn't ring the bell. We got
Proven Truth Beyond Religious Labels
SPEAKER_04it. Listen, I didn't ring the bell. Everybody say proven truth. Proven truth, proven truth, fundamental, absolute truth, yes, is proven truth. Yeah, it's not you we need to understand that absolute truth, fundamental truth, is not religious truth. Religion is not responsible for truth, church people are not responsible for truth. Truth is the foundation of everything that we are striving to build our life upon. So we have to understand God came before there was ever religion. Come on, and what we actually have in history are ancient peoples who subscribed to the authority and the presence of a God factor that's something that was greater and larger than them. And there was no religion, there was no theology. They simply looked out in the stars and said, I didn't came that. Come on, somebody. They simply looked at a sun that continued to come up every day. They recognized, you know, after a few times waking up every morning and then waking up every morning and then waking up every morning. I'm not responsible for that. Ancient people who never had a Bible, never had a Bible school, recognize that there was a God greater than them. What I'm saying is that truth is something that can be proven. It's evidential.
SPEAKER_10Yes.
SPEAKER_04Apostle found what you just shared with us about folks who want titles and they're gonna leverage their title, or else I'm leaking. Well, if you were worth what you claim to be, you would be willing to prove it. See, here's what's gonna happen, Brother Lewis. We're gonna know one way or the other in a minute. We're gonna know the truth. One way the and see, some folks don't want to wait eight years because you're gonna find out the truth about me. Come on, somebody. I can't hold out that much. That's the problem right there. That's what I'm waiting on right there. Because I need to see proven. All right, so listen, we're gonna we're gonna just can we give God some price for this outfit of truth of speaker.
SPEAKER_00Thank
