I welcomed the OG Youtube Fitness Guru, Mike Chang in today's episode of the show. If you don’t know who he is, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of the highly successful company Six Pack Shortcuts, whose mission was to help people lose weight and get abs.
If you remember seeing Youtube ads back in 2010-2016 of a ripped Asian guy with his shirt off, then chances are, you probably know about Mike Chang.
At one point, his channel was the most subscribed fitness channel on Youtube, and at its peak, he brought in an impressive 13 million dollars a year by helping people get in shape. Mike Chang is considered a trailblazer in the Youtube fitness industry and is credited for helping shape what it looks like today.
During this conversation, I got a chance to learn about how Mike got into fitness, the story behind Six Pack Shortcuts, how he had everything he ever wanted but still felt empty, why he left the company at its peak, addressing everyone who called his business a scam and what he’s up to now.
