Have you ever been thrown off your game first thing in the morning?  Did you let it ruin your entire day?  I had a situation happen this past week that reminded me how resilient and solution based we really can be. Here is the resiliency lesson:  • When faced with challenges, do not give up so easily. Know that you have the ability to figure things out. While you may want to stop, drop and roll, don’t. In other words, don’t be quick to give up and believe in your ability to bounce back. • Be resilient so you can recover quickly from difficulties. • Don't wallow or dwell on failures; acknowledge the situation, learn from their mistakes, and then move forward. Listen my friends, • Resilience is important for a number of reasons; it helps us to develop mechanisms for protection against experiences which could be overwhelming, it helps us to maintain balance in our lives during difficult or stressful periods of time, and resiliency can also protect us from the development of some mental health difficulties.
