Hey you guys and welcome back to a brand new episode  and hopefully you guys out there doing good.  So look, I know it's been,  I probably want to say about three to four weeks since my last episode. um These past couple of weeks, your girl has been booked and busy  between going to events  and collaborating with different brands.

I believe my last episode was on August the 29th  and I did tell you guys in that episode that  the following week which was September the 4th that I had three events to go to  back to back Thursday through Saturday and then  that the next week

My period came  on,  Aunt Flo made her monthly visit. So I really did not feel like doing anything too much.  I want  to say the week after that,  I was also busy doing more collaborations with different brands.

So I figured for this episode I would come on and just  talk to you guys about what's been going on with me because I just feel like nowadays  anytime I come back on a podcast to talk to you guys I always have some new information.  In all honesty it's not a bad thing because at least you guys are not getting old content.  Okay so starting  off on the  week of September the 4th.  So Thursday on the 4th  I had

the influencer award show  which was held by Philadelphia magazine  at the Bellevue Hotel and let me tell you guys that was a beautiful event  that was the first time I had ever been invited to an event by Philadelphia magazine

And it was just so nice seeing other creators coming out. I thought I was overdressed, but when I got there,  I fit right in.  I got so many compliments on my dress.  You would have thought I was nominated for something, but I wasn't. But it was just a good experience.  and um.

I got to connect with some of the sponsors that was there  that did help to sponsor the event.  And I did take my boyfriend with me and he did,  I want to say get like a little tipsy because  they was handing out free samples of wine and alcohol.

and they had different activation stations where you can take pictures and stuff like  it was just a good time overall you guys. Now I will say that I did get there late.  Now my boyfriend  he ended up getting there I want to say like around 5:40 5:45 I  did not show up to like six o'clock  but I will say this much  your girl was fashionably late  I'm just saying.

So after the award show they had the after party at F1 arcade and they also have food for us there as well  and that was my first time going inside of F1 arcade and it's a really cute spot.  To not get you guys confused is not...

an  arcade that has different arcade games in it  is basically  NASCAR driving.  So that was Friday. No, that was Thursday.  And then Friday, I had to go up to  Wilmington, Delaware for a networking event. And that was really cool, connecting with other creatives  and just networking.  So that was, yeah, that was Friday. And then Saturday,

Saturday,  I went to the Philly Influencer Mixer Conference  that was held at Helium  Comedy Club,  which started at 9 o'clock in the morning.  I kind of felt like I was going to school,  waking up  so early to get to a conference.  But I will tell you guys this much, I definitely learned a lot at the conference  and  hearing other people on the panel  talk about

just their experience being a content creator  and how to reach out to brands and knowing your worth and  knowing your set rate. And also hearing from the different brands like Philadelphia Magazine and PR, I think it's called PR Philly Girl  and Hey Day,  just  hearing them talk about.

the process of reaching out to different creators or  like what they expect  from creators as far as the professional as far as the professionalism and stuff like that.

We did learn about chat GBT and using Canva, which I already kind of use anyway, but definitely got some good information because I think for me,  and I've said this before,  because I started my content creator journey or my journey of being a creative,  not for the sake of money, trying to  find a middle ground or a middle point as far as how much

I should charge  without overcharging or undercharging is something that I still kind of struggle with, but I am getting a little bit better at that.  And so for lunch, we had Shake Shack.  So the conference was from nine o'clock in the morning to three o'clock in the afternoon.  And then the after party, which was from five to seven,  was at the Stratus Lounge.

which is really nice you guys. I had never been to that lounge, but  very, very nice.  And then I think I forgot to mention about the event that I went to in Delaware. So that event, they had  spoken word. They also had live music  and they had different pieces of artwork as well.

which was really cool. But overall you guys, by the time  Sunday came around,  your girl was tired  and I did not want to do anything. My social battery, my social battery was kind of depleted  by the end of that week.

But it was a good week. I got to make different connections and stuff like that and meet so many different people. So I really wasn't doing too much recording. I did go over to my friend's barbecue on

And then  Saturday, I went to my friend's barbecue, which was the 13th.  And then the 14th,  I went up to King of Prussian Mall to go visit Wanderlust  Co. because they had a birthday celebration for their jewelry and they was giving out

jewelry to the influencers that they invited.  So I got myself some new jewelry.

The next week, which was the week of the 15th,  I did two  brand collaborations. One was with F1 Arcade. I connected with them during the Influencer Awards show.  And then  the other place I did a collab with is called Old Brother. And they are a restaurant here in Philadelphia, mainly in the old city area. they have different items on their menu, like cheese steaks and burgers.

burgers and fries  and milkshakes but there I feel like they are best known for their cheese steaks  and I have to say that that cheese steak did not disappoint it really didn't  that day I think that was Monday  actually no I yeah I think that was Monday Tuesday was F1 arcade  then Thursday which was the 18th  I went on  a

Philly True Crime Tour Trolley with my boyfriend. So we got to get the sneak peek. The trolley is ran by Founding Footsteps.

So that was really fun and I definitely learned a lot about different crimes that happened right here in Philadelphia.  And I would definitely recommend if you are looking to do something this Halloween season, definitely book yourself a tour. I think that's all that I did that week which was last week.  And so as far as this week, I do have one collaboration coming up  which is with Hay Day to get a free facial  also.

I forgot, so last week, which was the week of the 15th,  I did go down to Riverside Casino to audition  for the Wheel of Fortune. Now, I'm not going to lie to you guys,  I didn't even really want to go. Like my mom kept  pestering me about it, like, oh my gosh, I think you should go. I have a good feeling about this. And for me, I feel like I'm not going to get picked anyway, so why should I waste my time? But...

I remember Thursday I was on my Instagram feed just scrolling  and it popped up about them having auditions and so

I figured, you know, why not go take my shots? It's not like, you know, I'm thinking I'm really going to get picked. Like I'm just going just because. So  I was surprised to see so many people in line on a weekday. I'm thinking it's a Thursday. People are at work. But  I definitely feel like a lot of people probably took off of work. But yet the line was definitely long. I got in line, I want to say, probably after 1130.

mind you the audition was from I think 10 or 11 till 3 o'clock in the afternoon so by the time I got done you guys it was basically 3 o'clock

The first line that I had to stand  outside, that took over an hour for me to get up front. And then once we finally got to the front of the line, we had to go inside, go through the metal detector, the scanner,  give them  our ID, then go towards the escalator, go up the escalator, and then wait in another line  for over another hour, you guys.  Okay.

Once we got towards the front of that line, it had these people at the desk  that was giving out a piece of paper  and a little...

Board that you can use to help you  write with the paper But you basically had to fill out your information on the paper like your name  your address your phone number email So in case you do get picked as a contestant they can contact you  So  once we got to that part of the phase, I'm thinking I am almost there you guys  Know we had to go through these doors and there was another line. Okay,  so once you got to that line

you were finally going to see one of the producers.  Once I got to the front of that line, because by that time I was in line, I had made a couple friends,  they basically put us in a group of five, and so  they sent us over to one of the producers,  and we gave the producer the paper with our information, and basically we all went around in circle  and said something about ourselves in 30 seconds.  The main thing is they did not want us to tell them

how much we love the show, how much we want to be on the show.  They really wanted us to show them our personality.  And I'm thinking to myself,  how can I show you guys my personality in 30 seconds? Like I got a lot to tell, okay?  There was one lady in my group.

I really felt like when she started talking about herself, I'm just thinking to myself,  I have lost the competition. remember  telling a girl next to me that I had became friends with that girl, I'm done. Because the ladies start going on and on to produce her about she can do impressions of Cher  and impressions of other people and all this other stuff.  And I'm just thinking to myself,  lady,  what are you going to tell her next? You can do a cartwheel.

You can flip backwards. Like, I don't know, but you really are killing me right now.  My chances. Yeah, after everybody went around, did their 30 seconds of telling the producer who they were, blah, blah, we were basically done. And when I tell you guys, I was so hungry when I left. I was so thirsty.

because when I was standing outside in that line in the sun,  I definitely feel like it did affect me a little bit. But the people that I kind of made friends with, we did go and get some food inside of the casino  at a Chinese restaurant.  And then what else has your girl been up to?  I think I might have mentioned this before, but maybe I didn't. don't know. But right now I am competing for the face of Halloween. And if I win, I will get
