In recent years, the mystery of the secret mourner prompted two friends to drive out to the grave and keep watch to see if they could glimpse the mysterious visitor. Initially, they found nothing untoward, but as they try to leave the area, their car refused to start despite having been serviced recently and with a full tank of petrol, they and others are convinced this malfunction was something to do with Jay's grave and maybe a warning to stay away and leave her and to unknown.
