When we think about #thinkingcourageously, it's important to consider the role that fear and pain play in creating a courageous mindset. We fear things that cause us pain. We avoid them...Often times, we step around the fear vs. going through it.

As the old adage says "pain is inevitable, suffering is optional"

In this episode, I talk about the importance of unleashing the pain and creating the space for courage.

How does pain and fear show up viscerally for people?  I'll share a few examples of how it shows up for me and metaphors my clients have used.

What might it feel like to stop playing small, to identify your inner gremlin, to own your inner gremlin, to thank your inner gremlin and send it on its way! We'll talk about how the coaching process can support you on this journey.

And what if we operated from a new mindset? "Don't try to manage your feelings. Dance with them instead" (Peter Bregman). What would your #ROAR sound like?

How can we teach ourselves and others to lean into our fear and pain? In this podcast, I provide a few tips on how to address and release emotions.
