Show Notes

In episode 73 of the Think Courageously Podcast, I talk with Andrea Rizvi!

This successful Australian women's career path has been far from linear! Andrea was climbing the proverbial corporate ladder when her bite sized pivots started.

A growing family and a traditional corporate path led Andrea to redefine success. In pursuit of this, she tarted Boomerang BitesTM in 2018! An artisanal bakery that specializes in bite-sized sweet baked Australian goods. Their mission: Be Good. Do Good, where they donate 20% of their profits to charities focusing in the education sector.

During my time with Andrea we discuss:

-bite sized pivots
-redefining joy
-the identity struggle
-judgement from others
-leaning into discomfort
-permission to fail

Andrea says,

"The reality is that the giving back is actually what brings joy. That's why I called it Boomerang Bites because you send out goodness and it comes right back. Too often we get wrapped up in the giving back because it's the right thing to do rather than giving back because it's the joyful thing to do."
