In this episode, AABP President Dr. Calvin Booker and AABP President Elect and program chair Dr. Carie Telgen discuss the 53rd AABP Annual Conference. We discuss the conference theme of Believe. Engage. Connect and why this theme was chosen as well as how it fits into the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Booker discusses how the AABP Board of Directors evaluated the situation and arrived at the conclusion to have a hybrid conference where there will be an in-person option as well as a live stream of sessions for virtual attendance. Dr. Telgen discusses some conference highlights, including the keynote address from Amy te Plate Church from Look East.
