that kind of evil surrounded our Lord's coming. 00:13:09.039 --> 00:13:17.279 In this short, powerful account, God gives us four noteworthy characteristics of his providence that help guide us in our lives. 00:13:17.440 --> 00:13:21.840 So let's look at those briefly and then see how God would have us respond. 00:13:22.080 --> 00:13:26.720 First, note please with me that providence is perfectly --> 00:21:30.880 And when that backfired, he exerted his powerful control to murder in an effort to thwart God's purpose and plan. 00:21:32.079 --> 00:21:38.720 Herod would use all of his power at his world to see and to accomplish the fulfillment of his word. 00:24:56.960 --> 00:25:02.720 And we are to believe the same thing as we focus in on the tiny village of Bethlehem. 00:25:04.559 --> God's control and plan. 00:28:42.319 --> 00:28:48.400 Even if we can't grasp it this side of eternity, our sufferings have a place in God's plans. 00:28:48.559 --> 00:28:50.079 We don't suffer in
