So, There I Am...

This is Travis Jay Vernon and Welcome! to the So There I Am... Podcast. I have been spending time in the outdoors since I could walk. I started out catching frogs and insects, and then hunting with everything from a BB gun and archery gear, to chasing big game with a rifle. I have been an avid fisherman everywhere I have lived and traveled. Cooking, foraging, fishing, and hunting have been a driving force for me. Looking for Treasure and Lost Spanish Gold with my Grandma Betty

Locations: Utah

Treasure hunting has been something I have pursued my entire life. The hunt for lost gold and mines from the Spanish that were in Utah has been intriguing to me and I enjoy any reason to get into the woods and mountains. This is mainly a teaser. While I do discuss some topics and talk about spending time looking for gold with my Grandma Betty, I do not go into too much detail. If you would like more information, feel free to contact me.
When panning or looking for gold please follow all laws and respect others claims. DO NOT TRESPASS! You can recreationally pan for gold in many National Forests and BLM land. Many of the treasure stories you hear and read about are not true. They are embellished by the authors to get you to part with your own treasure for the story. Keep that in mind while you look for treasure but also keep in mind…some of it is true.
