All The Tea In History

Quarantea: Yellow Fever 1793

Jillian Jaszewski, Hannah Norton, and Allison Drtina Swanson Season 1 Episode 7

In another thrilling instalment of our limited series "Quarantea" we discuss the outbreak of Yellow Fever which ravaged Philadelphia in the year 1793 along with the various treatments for this, particularly terrible plague. We also discuss the manner in which the very new American Government handled the situation, how mercury and Vicks vapour rub got involved along with a smattering of Hamilton references. There will, of course, be reading by Allison, sadly her death plushies do not make an appearance in this episode, and DNA is far from sight as well but never fear for this episode is exploding with information and we hope you're ready to hear it all!
