Season 3, Episode #36. Not Me, But You! Podcast.

Happy July 4th holiday weekend. We discuss what Bitcoin is NOT! And we talk about how Bitcoin is different from all types of OTHER assets and how YOU can benefit from owning/holding it, IF you can tolerate the volatile price!

I can own Bitcoin and I don't need to insure Bitcoin, buy Bitcoin a new washing machine, buy Bitcoin a new roof, buy Bitcoin a new HVAC system, buy Bitcoin new carpet or flooring etc. IF I own investement property, I NEED to do ALL of those things at some time. I can also MOVE my Bitcoin with me anywhere in the world. I can't pick up my investment real estate property and move it with me to some other place on the globe!

We also discuss WHAT drives prices higher? Why do THINGS cost more over time? Is it the cost of the product/service has increased to produce? Or is the value of the money (purchasing power) has declined?

We discuss how pursuing perfection actually can CAUSE procrastiation. We review one and 5 year plans!

Shocking stat: 0.01% of the people on planet earth have $2,000/month  OR it's equivalent in dividend income!! The interest rate we earn on our money is crucially important. Think of your self as the OWNER of YOUR bank.

Have courage today, to pick one thing, and work on your dreams. We will talk again soon.

I'm not a financial advisor. This podcast is for education/entertainment purposes only. You will need to do your own research and accept responsibility for the results of any money you choose to invest. I love using Schwab.com to buy/sell stocks/ETF's/closed end funds/options. Schwab has a very user friendly app/website and their customer service is excellent. I can easily get to speak to a human being whenever I have questions.
