This anointed message comes from Matthew7:7-8. In this message Pastor Burch reminds us that the prayer life of a resurrected community is characterized by shameless audacity rather than timidity. Jesus' commands in Matthew 7:7-8 to ask, seek, and knock are written in the present active imperative, meaning we should continuously and persistently pray. We ask repetitively like the persistent widow, seek God's wisdom with expectation, and knock aggressively through embodied prayer that includes action. Because the tomb is empty and Jesus lives, we can pray with bold confidence knowing that the God who raised Jesus from the dead is still listening, responding, and opening doors today. Listen and be blessed.
