Show Notes

Welcome to Screen Tea Podcast! For the second week running, Lisha and Jules managed to coax some guests along for the ride! Alek and Doug from the podcast Keep Your Voice Down join your hosts for a deep dive into the (much requested) 2015 Ridley Scott adaptation of Andy Weir's The Martian! It's a long one, so make sure you have plenty of sustenance (may we suggest tea with your potatoes?) as you get cozy with this podcast crew for debates about who the real asshole here is (is it Jeff Daniels or Mars?), whether or not the right Bowie song was chosen for the soundtrack, and who among the astronauts would spill the full story in a tell-all book post-canon.  This episode is an example of making things with friends, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!

You can listen to Alek and Doug on their podcast, Keep Your Voice Down, at https://www.watershedvoice.com/podcasts/keep-your-voice-down/, and wherever you find your podcasts!

Sources for information gathered for this episode were: www.imdb.com, www.wikipedia.org,  www.rottentomatoes.com, www.metacritic.com, as well as the novel The Martian by Andy Weir.
