[00:00:54] Bryan Murphy: Stick around. You're gonna want to hear this one. Because when he pair Maui with the best food on Maui, it really doesn't get better than that. Today I am excited to be joined by Liza Pierce, a longtime Maui resident and creator of the popular blog, a Maui blog. Liza has been sharing her love of the island since 2005 when she started the blog.
[00:01:17] Bryan Murphy: And the blog helps visitors experience authentic Hawaiian culture, discover hidden gems, and support local businesses. If anyone knows where to eat, like a local on Maui, it's definitely Liza, and that's why I'm really excited for her to be joining this episode of Hawaii's Best. This is gonna be a lot of fun.
[00:01:37] Bryan Murphy: There's a lot of take in and some really great spots and some tips along the way. By the end of this episode, you'll know exactly where to go. For the best local eats on Maui for iconic restaurants to hidden food truck gyms. You also learn how to avoid common tourist traps and have an authentic dining experience that supports the local community.
[00:01:59] Bryan Murphy: Whether this is your first trip to Maui or your 10th, this guide will help you eat like a local when you're on Maui. Alright, let's go ahead and let's talk story with Liza. From a Maui block,
[00:02:18] Bryan Murphy: I can't wait to get into talking more about where locals eat on Maui and what's behind that is how people can support local.
[00:02:27] Liza Pierce: I'm glad we're talking about where locals eat because you know where the visitors should go and try local, not just stay in the resort and, you know, explore around different areas and just, you know, embrace the culture.
[00:02:40] Liza Pierce: And one of the ways. Of embracing it is, you know, fried food.
[00:02:45] Bryan Murphy: So let's just get into it then, because I think people listening right now are like, all right, just, you know, gimme the list.
[00:02:51] Liza Pierce: There's a lot of different spots and there's also different costs. There are some expensive Oh, true. There's average, there's, you know, where do you find the cheap one?
[00:03:00] Liza Pierce: Molly's always expensive. There's just make that straight, right? Yeah. So when we say, but these are the more affordable, it still probably will, looks expensive, but these are the good ones to try that. You know, local people here in Maui go on a regular basis. That's what we're gonna be mentioning here. So if we don't mention some of your favorites, you know, some of you have been here.
[00:03:21] Liza Pierce: Just know that this is more focused on the local everyday basis to go. Right.
[00:03:26] Bryan Murphy: Love it. Okay, let's go.
[00:03:28] Liza Pierce: You're visiting and you're thinking, okay, well, you know, we really wanna experience the local stuff. Well better go to Wailuku Kahoi. That's the central part of Mau. When people are visiting, they usually probably stay in Kihei side or Ka Nepali side, you know?
[00:03:46] Liza Pierce: Mm-hmm. But you have to make a point to go to Wailuku to find the local eateries there. And usually you'll probably visit El Valley right when you come here. So time that day when you're visiting El Valley to explore some of the local places. And here are some of the local interesting places to eat.
[00:04:06] Liza Pierce: Number one is Sam Satos. It's kind of close to actually to EO Valley. Okay. And so this is the place to go. However, there's always a long light. They open early, they're known for their noodles, and even hamburger and french pie, which is, you know, not really very local, but they're known for that too. And a barbecue.
[00:04:29] Liza Pierce: Same, and, but they're doodle. Sams noodle is very popular. So you know, they're also really, really good because they've been around for a long time. They open up 1933. So aside from Sams, there's another one that's kind of similar to Sams. It's called Tasty Crust, so it's another old timer. They started in 1957 and they're known for their side fried rice.
[00:04:59] Liza Pierce: Pancake of course. 'cause their taste. Taste crus is just people know about them, about their macadamia at pancake. Nice.
[00:05:06] Liza Pierce: We can go to PA from here. Let's start with Paia Fish Market. So they're very known. Paia fish market's been there, very, very popular. They're in the corner so you won't be able to miss them.
[00:05:18] Liza Pierce: Good fish tacos. I know one lady from the mainland visiting here and her son doesn't eat fish at all. You know no fish or they went to eat a fish park it. They ordered this pasta with fish in it like the seafood pasta. And the little boy loved it, finished the whole big bowl of this seafood pasta. So yeah, so pe, ea, fish market.
[00:05:45] Liza Pierce: So Northshore, when we're talking about Northshore, we cannot ignore the fact that one of the best restaurants here on Maui is in Northshore and people are already probably thinking what I'm thinking. And that is. Mama's Fish house.
[00:06:01] Bryan Murphy: This is a spot. Sorry, I'm a little bit jaded because this is a spot that I just haven't been able to get to.
[00:06:07] Bryan Murphy: But anyways, I won't be salty about it.
[00:06:10] Liza Pierce: That's the reason for you to kind of make a plan and go there,
[00:06:13] Bryan Murphy: right? That's right. It's
[00:06:15] Liza Pierce: very hard to get reservations. It's, I mean, right now, because we're not as busy as we used to be. We know with all that happened, with the behind the fire, people are just, you know, slowly coming back.
[00:06:27] Liza Pierce: Probably able to get reservation faster.
[00:06:31] Bryan Murphy: Mm.
[00:06:31] Liza Pierce: Okay. Also, another tip is if you can get a reservation for dinner, go there for lunch. Mm. Food is good as well, you know, and you'll see the ocean scene scenery, same atmosphere. It's just, you know, you go there for lunch instead of dinner. So that's a tip for people.
[00:06:49] Liza Pierce: Try to get there.
[00:06:50] Bryan Murphy: And maybe if I could just build on that tip, even though I'm salty, and I've never been to Mama's Fish House, but if you go out lunch, you're probably staying in KeHE. You're probably staying in Nepali, and that's a bit of a drive to make if you're going for dinner. Mm-hmm. And it might be better to try a lunch there.
[00:07:10] Liza Pierce: Yeah.
[00:07:11] Bryan Murphy: Rather than a long drive back into,
[00:07:13] Liza Pierce: yeah. Back in the town. So we've tried both and you know, we only go there for like super special occasions. Sure. We, my husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there.
[00:07:25] Bryan Murphy: Awesome.
[00:07:25] Liza Pierce: And then my boss at one time was my birthday. My boss took me out there for lunch.
[00:07:31] Liza Pierce: Nice. So I had both lunch experience and dinner experience.
[00:07:35] Bryan Murphy: Okay.
[00:07:36] Liza Pierce: And so there's one more restaurant in North Shore that I would like to mention, and it's very popular. It's small, and I have to be honest, like you, I haven't been to this one. Okay? Like I haven't been to Mama's Fish House. I haven't been to this place, but it's on my list.
[00:07:53] Liza Pierce: It's called.
[00:07:55] Bryan Murphy: Okay,
[00:07:56] Liza Pierce: so this NCA is NCA restaurant specializes in sushi sashimi, you know, but they have other dishes that they would serve and local know this spot. Not a lot of visitors know about them, although they're starting to become popular now because of word of mouth. But if you are. On a search for good sushi and sashimi and you are on the North Shore.
[00:08:19] Liza Pierce: Sure to do make reservation noka. It's a small place so you have to make your reservation. Make sure you will be able to go in.
[00:08:25] Bryan Murphy: Good to know.
[00:08:26] Liza Pierce: Yeah.
[00:08:27] Bryan Murphy: Alright, so that is North Shore and now it's time to make your way. Back, south Shore, west side. Take us down South.
[00:08:38] Liza Pierce: Down south, okay. Well, that's where I live. I live in KeHE and great place to live.
[00:08:43] Liza Pierce: A lot of nice beaches, but a lot of places to eat and enjoy the local food. Let's start with Nalu. Oh
[00:08:51] Bryan Murphy: yeah,
[00:08:51] Liza Pierce: yeah. Nalu is in a second place and they serve breakfast. Lunch and dinner, so you know, wherever, whenever you're available you can try it. But great food. They have this seared AHI sandwich that is like super popular, but when I go there, I order this fish with Lili COI dressing sauce on this.
[00:09:20] Liza Pierce: It is so good. They have also like a local music sometimes, you know, Friday night, Saturday night, it's an open place. It's not air conditioned, it's open air. Go there for breakfast. Acai Bowl is very popular with them. Okay, so Nalu, and then the next one is The Kitchen. You remember The Kitchen was very, very popular.
[00:09:45] Liza Pierce: They used to have two places, one in Rainbow Mall. One in Kaulu. During COVID, they actually really got affected. You know, they closed their Rainbow Mall place and then eventually they also closed their Kaulu. So for some time we didn't have the kitchen, but they came back. So now they are on this little corner place next to Longs.
[00:10:15] Liza Pierce: In a second. Oh, okay. And they have the same good food. People are just starting to discover them that they're there now and they have, you know, the popular chicken touch, teriyaki chicken, they have the noodles also, and they have the fried. Spa must to be not very healthy, but
[00:10:36] Bryan Murphy: Well, yeah, I mean really.
[00:10:38] Liza Pierce: So you can indulge in every now and then?
[00:10:40] Liza Pierce: Not on a regular basis. They have big portion. That's one thing about the kitchen. You know, their local plate lunches, they have huge portion that when my husband and I go there, we can actually split one plate lunch for both of us and we're still full after we eat it. Another good one is coconuts.
[00:11:01] Liza Pierce: Coconut and their specialty, or they're popular for their fish tacos. Which is not the usual taco, not the usual Mexican taco that you would expect. Okay. This one's got mangoes.
[00:11:16] Bryan Murphy: Nice. Yeah, of course.
[00:11:16] Liza Pierce: And it's like unique flavor. Yeah. So either you like it or you don't. But I love it. Like this is not like the usual taco I would expect, but they're very popular.
[00:11:27] Liza Pierce: They have in, I think they've been number one recommended in TripAdvisor or Yelp. I can't remember which one. They also have two locations in KeHE. One in Zeca and then one in front of Ka Ole. It's Ka ole son's shopping center, I think is the name of the place, but in front of Kama Ole Beach two. Okay, so now there's this best kept secret in Kihei, which is not really a best kept secret anymore because people started talking about it, but it is.
[00:11:59] Liza Pierce: Called South Maui Gardens.
[00:12:02] Bryan Murphy: Oh, okay. Yeah.
[00:12:03] Liza Pierce: And in South Maui Gardens there is a section there that's called Kihei Food Oasis. And what it is, is it's part of many different food trucks that serve really good food. So the South Maui Gardens is why you call it the best kept secret is because you never know that it's got this whole thing inside that block of area from the outside.
[00:12:28] Liza Pierce: It's just the usual kind of like, you know, there's some plants building you'll pass by it without knowing about it. But now they have a side, they have this blue. Old car in front, so you know you won't miss it. And they have a big parking lot. Again, that's, you know, always a plus. When they have a parking lot, you don't have to go drive around looking for places to park, but inside them, so they have the food Oasis food truck on one side, but on the other side they have sit down like real, like bakery.
[00:12:58] Liza Pierce: Mm-hmm. KO Bakery. And Food Place. It's a gourmet. This is the go most gourmet food track you'll find, and it's in the place. It's like four star kind hotel. Wow. Food. Okay. But it's in this section in South Maui Gardens, and then they have coffee shop, so they're open also breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Okay. You just have to go on.
[00:13:21] Liza Pierce: The other section is more of breakfast. The other section is more lunch and dinner. But you can roam around. It's a beautiful place. It's got gardens, a lot of places to sit down, and it's so peaceful in there. You can bring your kids, you can even bring your dog. And then also they have a section where now you can do weddings.
[00:13:42] Liza Pierce: Because it's a beautiful garden. Yeah. Okay. So you can do weddings there. It's a wedding venue now, and also they started doing hula show.
[00:13:52] Bryan Murphy: That's cool.
[00:13:52] Liza Pierce: So it's an economical hula show. If you don't wanna spend too much money on a hula show, which it can be expensive, this is an alternative that they have this great hula show, but it doesn't come with food.
[00:14:05] Liza Pierce: So now you go there and you just buy your own food before the show. Oh, I love that. From food trucks. Yeah.
[00:14:11] Bryan Murphy: Yeah.
[00:14:12] Liza Pierce: The show starts and you're there watching the show.
[00:14:14] Bryan Murphy: That's great.
[00:14:15] Liza Pierce: So yeah, it's, it's a great, yeah, it's a great place. So people should check on that.
[00:14:19] Bryan Murphy: It's near KA Park. Yeah,
[00:14:21] Liza Pierce: it's, yeah, it's the cross from Keala Park.
[00:14:23] Liza Pierce: Okay. And it's gonna behind the church building.
[00:14:28] Bryan Murphy: So that's key. Great spot there. We've had a few people in KI on the podcast from Ellie, from Tutu's Pantry, Maui Brewing Company, and also Pizza Madness. And part of that crew that was on a year and a half ago was in response to the Lahaina fires and how people can at that time, you know, tangibly support.
[00:14:52] Bryan Murphy: And then now that. Parts of Lana have reopened. We're heading over to Lana now. I, I want to just hear before we jump, jump into some of the, the spots that are open now, what is the sentiment like visiting West Side in Lana and what should visitors know? What should visitors expect when visiting?
[00:15:14] Liza Pierce: So as always, the main theme or the main kinda reminder that we always say is be respectful.
[00:15:22] Liza Pierce: And what that is, is, you know, you just don't go to places that you're not supposed to go, like Front Street, you just don't go and kind of started observing out there. When it's blocked that says, you know, do not go in. Mm. And also, you know, just with the, the people, I would expect that, you know, you just don't keep on asking them about, you know, the, the fire, you know, they, some of them are still sensitive about it.
[00:15:46] Liza Pierce: Mm-hmm. So, you know, just enjoy and.
[00:15:49] Liza Pierce: See what you can support, how you can support them. But yeah, the restaurants are opening up and actually there are restaurants on the, the side of Front Street where they did not have the fire. Okay. Starting from the old La Luo. And then there's a row of different restaurants there that will mention and share that they're open and, you know, people are needing jobs and they need, they need, you know, the businesses need.
[00:16:16] Liza Pierce: To survive. And so we, we welcome visitors just as long as they're respectful. The interesting thing is when in my blog I talk about this
[00:16:25] Bryan Murphy: Hmm.
[00:16:25] Liza Pierce: And there's one comment I got that said, you don't have to tell us to be respectful. We are already.
[00:16:31] Bryan Murphy: Hmm.
[00:16:32] Liza Pierce: It's kind of like, you know, it's like, it's just a reminder.
[00:16:34] Liza Pierce: Yeah. We're not. Saying that they are not, but it's good to have that aloha. It could be a different culture, you know? And so it's just a reminder of that there is a culture here wherein, you know, you just don't be entitled.
[00:16:49] Bryan Murphy: Mm-hmm.
[00:16:50] Liza Pierce: You know, the attitude. It's the attitude that, you know, it's not the attitude of, oh, I coming here to spend money and you know, you be, should be, you know?
[00:16:58] Liza Pierce: Kind of treated like, you know, we're, we're entitled. Mm-hmm. It shouldn't be that way. It should become with aloha and, you know, we're, you're sharing the place, enjoying Maui. And just have the aloha spirit with the people.
[00:17:11] Bryan Murphy: Okay. Yeah. It's always a great reminder, you know? Yeah, yeah,
[00:17:15] Liza Pierce: yeah. So we don't want people to think that we're saying that people who are coming here are not respectful, but it's always a good reminder Yeah.
[00:17:21] Liza Pierce: To say that.
[00:17:22] Bryan Murphy: Absolutely.
[00:17:23] Liza Pierce: Yeah.
[00:17:24] Bryan Murphy: Let's eat.
[00:17:25] Liza Pierce: Okay, so let's, let's start before we go down to Loa. That will be Afin. Holly is, let's go to Kapa first. Alright.
[00:17:32] Liza Pierce: So there are restaurants that are popular. Both visitors and local, and these are the restaurants that are owned by TNS restaurants, and if I mention the name, I'm sure most of you are already familiar with it.
[00:17:47] Liza Pierce: They are hula grill leis or Duke, and they're known for their fish dish, fish tacos. You know the macadamia, not crusted fish. They also have the, the Maui beef. You know that if you're not into fish, they have beef and chicken dishes, but they are really good. They are at Whalers Village, the P Grail and Leilani.
[00:18:13] Liza Pierce: Whalers village, which is, you know, the, the place itself you can roam and you know, explore. But the location of the restaurants are on the beach side. So you had that beautiful scenery while you're eating your dinner or lunch, you have lunch and dinner.
[00:18:30] Bryan Murphy: Yeah. We had Leilani's on the podcast, so be sure to
[00:18:33] Liza Pierce: Oh, you did?
[00:18:34] Liza Pierce: Yeah.
[00:18:35] Bryan Murphy: The, the GM there, Jason, I don't know if he's still the gm, but. Yeah, it was, it was on and it was great. 'cause yeah, we're, we were at second floor wasn't open yet, so we went up there and did the, did the episode and we just, you know, dolphins were out swimming. It was just such a beautiful day, man. On West Side.
[00:18:51] Bryan Murphy: We were there. It was, it was beautiful. Yeah.
[00:18:54] Liza Pierce: It's beautiful. So we always recommend us when we have visitors. You know, we have friends and family coming in to visit us. Uhhuh, you know, from the mainland, we always take them to one of those restaurants, Leilani, or Hula Grill or Dukes. We never miss it. And you know why?
[00:19:09] Liza Pierce: We also always go there?
[00:19:11] Liza Pierce: It's because of the hula pie.
[00:19:13] Bryan Murphy: Yeah. Yep. So good.
[00:19:15] Liza Pierce: You gotta try the hula pie. When you come visit those restaurants, you wanna describe what the hula pie is? Sure. You're familiar with it, right?
[00:19:24] Bryan Murphy: Yeah. No, we, we, we have it when we're there. It's just huge. It's a huge slice so you can share.
[00:19:30] Bryan Murphy: You can share it. And it's got like this crust on the bottom right? What's that? It's like a, um,
[00:19:34] Liza Pierce: yes. Macada. Yeah, it's got
[00:19:36] Bryan Murphy: the macada nut crust and it's just, oh, it's so good. And then
[00:19:40] Liza Pierce: this, the chocolate syrup. The chocolate
[00:19:42] Bryan Murphy: syrup. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
[00:19:44] Liza Pierce: Yeah. It, it is so good. My husband can eat the whole thing sharing,
[00:19:49] Bryan Murphy: so it's definitely big enough to share himself.
[00:19:53] Bryan Murphy: We ordered
[00:19:54] Liza Pierce: two or one, because if it's only one, it's like he'll eat them. All right. It is very, very good dessert. And so, yeah. So we mentioned that they also have now a monkey pod on the west side, you know, in Whalers Village as well. Another spot that I would like to mention in this is not the usual places to go for a dessert for dinner or lunch, but it's very popular for breakfast.
[00:20:19] Liza Pierce: It's called Poppy's Ohana. Yeah. Their specialty. They're in KA side. I think Kahana, their specialties is this cinnamon roll.
[00:20:29] Bryan Murphy: Ooh.
[00:20:30] Liza Pierce: Very popular spot that people line up like super long line in the morning just to be able to get poppies, ohana cinnamon roll. So that's on the Kana Poly side. Ka Lua. Just to mention, KA Lua special place is the bunion tree at the Ritz Carlton and also the burger shop.
[00:20:50] Liza Pierce: Next to the Fleming Beach. Hmm. The Fleming Beach. We went there last December. You know, I did a staycation. Mm-hmm. Oh, and that burger shock all their food at all. And then our dinner at the bunion tree was super special as well. So yeah. Let's go Lana. Okay, so the popular places there, Aloha Plate Lunch, that's next to the ocean as well, next to the old Lana Lu.
[00:21:21] Liza Pierce: And it is, it's kind of interesting. They, they change, they close it down during COVID and then now they're open again. But people love that place, you know? Do you wanna experience the local plate lunch specialty, and, and you're on the west side? Go there at the Aloha plate match and the sister company is, and it's right next to it too, is Star Noodles.
[00:21:46] Liza Pierce: And as the name says, you know, they're specialties noodles, but they also have other food that you can order from them. You know, the usual hamburger and. They have this dessert malasada. Mm-hmm. You know, if you don't, you know Malasada is like the local donut. They have that dessert there that's super, super good.
[00:22:06] Liza Pierce: But the garlic noodle is the popular one that people order. Then you go farther down and you'll see whole new restaurant and then next to Honu. I'm not very familiar with the Honu, but I have to mention it 'cause it's also recommended. But next to it. One of my favorites is Maas Tavern, so it's right next to the ocean.
[00:22:29] Liza Pierce: They have really good food as well. So any, anything you order on Maas is really good. I think my husband had hamburger there too. Okay. They actually recently hosted Laina. Food and Wine Festival.
[00:22:44] Bryan Murphy: Oh, okay.
[00:22:45] Liza Pierce: Just to encourage people to come and you know, and let people know that Laa is open on that side of Lana ATIs.
[00:22:52] Liza Pierce: And so they did the La Haa Food and Wine Festival and it's the first, and they're gonna do it again next. Oh, that's cool. You know, it's an annual event. So yeah, Mala Tavern Cross the street from Mala Tavern is Coco Deck, and it used to be the client, but they rebranded. It's now Coco Deck. They got Simon there.
[00:23:12] Liza Pierce: That's really good. And the Chef Kitchen assassin is his Instagram name. Yeah. A lot of specialty, unique flavor, but also with the local touch. Yeah. And so that, those are the places in Lahaina that I would recommend.
[00:23:27] Bryan Murphy: Awesome man. There's so many on my list that I need to get back. That's a great guide. I mean, is there a spot, because I know a lot of people, they're staying west side and they want to do, say they want to, you know, drive road Hana for the day.
[00:23:44] Bryan Murphy: Mm-hmm. Are there any like fast serve spots that you would recommend, just kind of like as you're going.
[00:23:52] Liza Pierce: Yeah. I'm trying to think. It used to have that in pa. Yeah, it probably might even be the PA fish market that we mentioned. Okay. And the Toby's, you know, on PAs side, I'm just thinking if I'm going to Hana, that will be the spot that I will stop.
[00:24:06] Bryan Murphy: It's a kind of a quicker serve. A
[00:24:08] Liza Pierce: quicker serve. Yeah. Okay. So now if you're coming from KeHE. And you just wanna bring sandwiches mm-hmm. You know, on your trip, you know, package. Oh, sure. In a little. I would recommend, there are two places that I would recommend. One is, uh, fork and salad, so they have sandwiches as well.
[00:24:27] Liza Pierce: Okay. And so those are the good ones to bring. You know, I should go along and traveling in your car, you can eat, you know, the sandwiches and they're, they're packed, ready for you to go. Another sandwich Place Salad and sandwich place is 8 0 8 Deli. They are actually where the, the kitchen in Rainbow Mall used to be.
[00:24:48] Liza Pierce: Oh, okay. Yeah. And so they specialize in sandwiches and salad as well. So yeah, those are the two places that I would recommend when you're going out, out and about driving. But you wanna pack a place that have something to eat, you know, in your car. Those are the two ones. And then if you're in K Hulu Yeah.
[00:25:08] Liza Pierce: Then might as well stop by tin roof.
[00:25:11] Bryan Murphy: Right.
[00:25:11] Bryan Murphy: What, what, I mean we've talked so much and we're gonna list everything and we'll list in the show notes, but what other maybe one or two tips would you want visitors to know just in general when visiting Maui specifically?
[00:25:27] Liza Pierce: The reservation is a good thing, you know, 'cause you'll never know.
[00:25:32] Liza Pierce: You know, like we said, it's a little bit slow, but still there are sometimes difficulty with the labor, the servers, you know, the scheduling and so you never know the schedule. So it's better to make reservations early, make well, that's one tip I would give is make reservation. And then the other one is actually give good tips.
[00:25:57] Liza Pierce: This is a community wherein the service is really important. Mm-hmm. And so some forget that you know, the service industry, the servers rely on tip. Mm-hmm. As well. So it's a good way to just give aloha to people. Right.
[00:26:10] Bryan Murphy: Okay.
[00:26:11] Liza Pierce: Chip. Well. Right.
[00:26:12] Bryan Murphy: Where can people find you and fall along with you and your journeys?
[00:26:16] Liza Pierce: Like what you said, the blog, but I'm also active on Instagram. Okay. So when they want to see, you know, all the things that been mentioned here. Yeah, you'll probably see Instagram reels I created about those restaurants in there. You know, and I post a lot about Sunset because people like to relax and watch Sunset and you know, the ocean.
[00:26:36] Liza Pierce: So there's a lot of them in there. I'm also on, I, I started doing YouTube actually. What? Visit Live Love Maui and a lot of YouTube shorts, which are similar to the reels, but yeah. Yeah. If you are more on YouTube than Instagram, then you'll find me there too.
[00:26:54] Bryan Murphy: Awesome. Well, this has been quite a journey. I can't wait to get back on Maui and I hope to meet up.
[00:27:02] Bryan Murphy: There's so many people from doing the podcast that I just, I get back on Mau. I want to like, there's like five people I wanna meet like when I'm there. And you're definitely one of 'em. I just wanna say thank you for your time and I'm sure for people listening, it's gonna be. Super valuable because it's, it's one thing to search on Yelp and Google and just kinda hope that those reviews are gonna lead you to the right spot.
[00:27:26] Bryan Murphy: But it's one thing to get someone like you an expert guide on Maui talking about the actual spots is super helpful. So thank you.
[00:27:34] Liza Pierce: Oh, thank you. Thank you for having me. I'm, you know, happy to share and just happy to share about these local businesses.
[00:27:41] Bryan Murphy: Awesome. And
[00:27:42] Liza Pierce: looking forward to you visiting.
