Wines To Find, Ep 66: Sourcing South African Wines
Show Notes

Guest: Alicia Kidd, Wine Noire. Wines Tasted: Aslina Chardonnay, 2019 and Aslina Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018.

Hosts Sandy and Michelle are joined by Alicia Kidd, owner of Wine Noire, an import/export/distribution company whose focus is bringing to the market wines produced by women and people of color.  Her portfolio consists of both South African and California wines.

Wines tasted are Aslina's Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.  Aslina's winemaker is award-winning Ntsiki Biyela, the first woman of color winemaker in South Africa. Native to South Africa, her mission is to make world-class wines that reflect the South African terroir and honor her heritage.

Alicia has made it her mission to find  and share female/minority producers like Ntsiki from South Africa and California. Wines To Find is happy to be able to assist with that mission and to learn more about South African wines in particular. Listen today to learn more!
