Who Is my Neighbor?
In the four gospels Jesus is asked 183 questions and he asks 307 questions of others. Jesus rarely offered a direct answer. He wanted us to think. He wanted to change hearts. In this gospel today Jesus is asked, “Who is my neighbor?” He offers an unforgettable story as his answer and then asks each of us: “Which of these three, in your opinion, was neighbor to the robbers’ victim?”
