In November 2017, GOODSTOCK's Managing Director Kim Butler Willis hosted a handful of women at her home to discuss their common passion for health equity and to determine the best way to tackle the issue. As the conversations continued, GOODSTOCK's three owners remained committed to the conversation and in June 2018 birthed GOODSTOCK Consulting. From the name to the logo to the foundational teachings, the ladies of GOODSTOCK gleaned from their own diverse upbringings in South Carolina and professional careers in healthcare to create an authentic and responsive consulting firm agnostic of industry. Equity, diversity and inclusion have proven essential for a thriving world and GOODSTOCK is here to strategically move their clients through the process of consideration, implementation, and innovation.Whenever GOODSTOCK takes a seat at your table, they are bringing the voices and experiences of so many others. Since incorporating in 2018, the firm has worked with over 9 organizations - large healthcare systems, small non-profits, private businesses, and grassroots community projects. The firm will continue to support organizations and the people they serve to harvest their own GOOD STOCK.
In terms of the B* Word Unpacked Podcast, these amazing and dynamic women soon realized that their meetings were essential for the soul and the business. From birth to broom to ballot to boss,the ladies of GOODSTOCK Consulting entertainingly unpack B* words that affect women everyday – especially Black women.
