Welcome to Proclamation!

Today we celebrate the fourth Sunday after Pentecost and the fourth Sunday in Pride month. Happy Pride! Today we’ll hear the story of Joseph and the special multicolored garment that Joseph wore. That piece of clothing was kind of like a pretty princess dress. We celebrate the LGBTQIA+ people in our community and give thanks to God for the courage to be our fullest selves.

Pastoral Intern Elle Dowd is preaching. Our scripture passages are Genesis 37:3-14, 18-23 read by Ed Finucane. After the sermon, you’ll hear a children’s message from Pastoral Intern Elle on self expression and creativity. This episode was hosted by Casey Vander Stel and produced by Marit Johnson.

You can read the text of the sermon here, and view the recording of the full service here.
