Jewish Book Spotlight-The Biblical Clock: The Untold Secrets Linking the Universe and Humanity with God’s Plan
In this week’s show our guest is Daniel Friedmann, an orthodox Jewish Chilean-Canadian scientist. He is an author of The Biblical Clock: The Untold Secrets Linking the Universe and Humanity with God’s Plan. He is a professional engineer and holds a master’s degree in engineering physics. For 20 years, he was CEO of a global communications and information company which built the space station robotic arms, he is still involved in space exploration and the Hubble telescope. Daniel Friedmann is conducting a virtual book tour promoting his book this summer.
The Biblical Clock is a fascinating read which discusses the 6 days of creation from a Jewish perspective which weaves their oral tradition to uncover the real age of the universe. Dr. Friedmann shares on our show how the prognosticated age of the universe of 13 billion years coincides with mystical Jewish ideas. We delve into the different religious camps which either read the Bible through a literal interpretation, a naturalistic way which explains away many ideas or a combination of both perspectives.
We also take a look at Jewish numerology or gematria and how Christian Cabbalists, Masons or others are interested in this subject. Dr. Friedmann would like to debate another scientist like Bill Nye the science guy but has not had the opportunity, like Ken Ham has regarding this topic.
