Bill Buttner is currently the golf coach at Ekerd College in Tampa Bay, Florida. His journey to Ekerd was a long and winding path. It started with a baseball injury in high school, then to UNC-Chapel Hill where he wanted to play basketball. All the while, Bill was grinding on his golf game. A Plymouth, Massachusetts native, Bill competed on the PGATour in the 1980s after a successful amateur career. Bill was a pleasure to talk to and I hope you enjoy our conversation.
One quick note on the sound for this pod. I rigged up a different set-up because this was a phone call with Bill, and so the quality isn’t super. But I appreciate you sticking it out and listening. I certainly learned a bit about the inner workings of audio engineering.
