Speaker 2:

What's up everybody and welcome back to your favorite podcast, something like sunday school. I am purpose williams and I will bless the lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. If you don't know, there's one of my favorite scriptures, but today I heard it differently. Listen to the vow, the vow to God, to bless his name at all times, whether that's a good time or a bad time, it's just, but it's good. You know, it's like I just heard it differently today, one of my favorite scriptures, and that's what I find so delicious about the word of God. You can read that thing and you can get something. You can read it again, you can get something else and it'll be more delicious and even more delicious herbs, not a word, but you understand what I mean. Tonight, I believe this is gonna be, as it always is, very impactful, and this is the three for three, and I believe she's locked in with us now oh my god Pastor Courtney, blessed, blessed blessed evening, good evening everyone.

Speaker 3:

I always counted a privilege and honor to be called upon by my dear sister friend, whatever y'all know her by, by my dear sister Friend Zantree's purpose, whatever y'all know about Something like Sunday school. So I kind of Honored to be here on tonight To grace y'all. I'm always honored by you.

Speaker 2:

Word.

Speaker 3:

Magnify the Lord with me. I was waiting for you to get to that point, let us exalt his name together. Come on, exalt his name together. I love this.

Speaker 2:

I love this scripture too. I do.

Speaker 3:

It's so delicious, I know we always act up when we get together and get on here, but we going, we going.

Speaker 2:

I don't, you know, I don't believe the Lord mindless acting up for the kingdom. I really don't believe you mind, I don't think, you mind, I don't think, you mind. I think we bring in the people that like to laugh with us and worship at the same time and lift his holy name at the same time, my, my, my, welcome to 2025, y'all 2025. 2025.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, starring y'all off right again with another episode About what we talking about prayer. We talking about pushing through. Another prayer episode for y'all we pushing through in 2025.

Speaker 2:

You gonna have to. There's a song that my uncle used to sing. He say Take the Lord along with you. That's how you know it's real. You don't say take him along with you. Take the Lord along with you, that's how you know it's real. And something about the heart. You don't say take him along with you.

Speaker 3:

Take the Lord along with you Along with you Everywhere you go. I ain't never heard that one. Oh yeah, I'm going to sing it for you when we get out, okay, say take the.

Speaker 2:

Lord along with you everywhere you go, and another part says you're going to need him.

Speaker 3:

You're going to need him, you're gonna need him, I need everyone. I need the old.

Speaker 2:

I know that one.

Speaker 3:

I ain't warm my voice up. You know I was warming up for it was a.

Speaker 2:

It was a guy, um, that I met a few years ago. His name was Calvin. He used to be so funny. He was a singer and, uh, if he had he and when he hadn't warmed his voice up yet he would would do this, he'd touch his throat. He was like I'm saving it for the kingdom. I said, sir, the kingdom is now.

Speaker 3:

It's that hand. It's that hand. I'm just touching my throat.

Speaker 2:

The kingdom is now. But this topic pushed through, I believe it can be a resounding spot for us all. In some part of life, you will find yourself in a position where you really will have to just push through. You get past the point of wanting to give up, right. But then you get to the place where you know what. I can't let this kill me, I can't let it take me out. I don't necessarily know where to start, where to restart, but I'm gonna push through right. But I know who to restart with. Come on, I know who to restart with, right. So, um, push through. Um, I believe Pastor Courtney is about to to tear the enemy's camp a new one. Oh my god, y'all know what I want to say, but somehow I feel like that's inappropriate. I feel like she's gonna stomp on his head. Stop, stop, stop till holding in his kingdom. Glory to god in the highest, and I'm excited about it.

Speaker 3:

I'm excited when she approached me with the topic one sunday.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if it was a Sunday, I always catch her outside y'all. We either write at the foyer or write in the podcast.

Speaker 3:

She sneak up on me like a thief in the night hey, hey, Like here she come that's my favorite part and she approached me with the topic of you know coming back on the podcast and gave me the topic and I just was like my god, just when she hit, because the season that I in and transitioning out of I could really say that it was a push through season but, when she approached me with it, I'm like nah god, what are you trying to do?

Speaker 2:

Because I have been pushing through and see, the Lord is so kind, he's so amazing. I had no idea. I just kept hearing push through and I was like Lord, that's such a that's not a catchy title, you know I like the odd things and he just kept saying push through. I said, well, let's push on through then.

Speaker 3:

My God, and so you know. The scripture that she gave you know for this topic Was Psalms 27, verses 13 through 14, and it reads I had fainted.

Speaker 2:

I had fainted.

Speaker 3:

Unless, unless, I had believed To see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Then it says Wait on the Lord, my God.

Speaker 2:

Wait on him.

Speaker 3:

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord, my God.

Speaker 3:

My God today and so you know, just you know, looking through it and just kind of meditating on it. You know I'm a word person so sometimes I like to look up words. So I looked up faint and what it meant and of course it was several different words that it, you know, could possibly mean. On one definition, I saw it said to grow weak or feeble, feeble. Then other words was passed out, drop out right, and then I put throw in the towel, and so I'm just looking like man and just thinking about that. It's so much easier to faint.

Speaker 2:

Than to push. It's easier to just let it. Let it take you over.

Speaker 3:

Because fainting don't require for you to do nothing but just lay down and throw in the towel, but when you look at, when you think about pushing, it requires you to exert. Come on, now you have to exert a physical energy, um. So imagine, you know, when you see people on the side of the road pushing cars, yeah, and you're seeing them putting their full body weight into their car to get in that car, they mean that's man, they don't even be straight up to move.

Speaker 3:

And so to me it's like the same way. Spiritually, it requires a level of you leaning in and pushing through, pushing through, jesus, you know, to get to the other side, to get to the breakthrough.

Speaker 3:

And god, we ain't even got to the question I just, I just jump right in, I'm jumping into because it's just starting to get good, have your way, because he gave you know, he gave me this illustration about childbirth and you know I don't have any children, naturally, I never experienced childbirth, but I can imagine. Well, first let me get through the question first, because I just jumped on it. No, come on, come on. I imagine that that is a painful moment and as a mother is pushing, you know she's pushing out a miracle, she's pushing out something that God has ordained and created. But she knows that she has to push this thing out and, although it may be painful, in the push there's a promise on the other side of the other side.

Speaker 3:

So you're it's a promise on the other side of your push. And so some people, may you know, take an epidural. It's so good I'm like, oh god, it's good to numb the pain. And so, as we're pushing through spiritually, your epidural will be prayer, because when you go into a place of prayer and supplication with god and you're communing one-on-one with him, that's your spiritual epidural because, it's numbing everything that you may be facing everything that you may be going through in the midst of that push through season.

Speaker 3:

It's going to be found in your place of prayer and every time you go into a place of prayer, god is numbing that pain. He's numbing the issue that you may have faced or what you're going through through prayer.

Speaker 2:

My Lord, so that your focus is just the push, just push it's just the push.

Speaker 3:

It's push Because it's the promise.

Speaker 1:

It's the promise on that side On the other side of your push.

Speaker 3:

You can't lay down, you can't think, you can't throw in the towel. You know God gives us the strength and the endurance to get through those difficult seasons or those push through seasons. But I think a lot of people think more on how hard it is than trying to get to the other side. Most people would just rather just give up and faint and lay down and, just like man, I ain't going to make it.

Speaker 3:

I can't get through it. But when you know who you are in Christ, and know who you are and the power and the authority that lies on the inside of you, greater is he that is in me than he that is in this world this world.

Speaker 3:

And so when I pull on the greater one that's on the inside of me, he will give me the strength and the power and the tenacity that I need so that I will not faint. So I will not faint, I will not quit, I will not throw in the towel but, that's gonna come with a knowing that's gonna come with a confident knowing of who you are in Christ, because he's giving you power, he's giving you authority over all things.

Speaker 3:

It's already on the inside of you, so you have to stir. You have to stir yourself up. Um, in this life, we were all. You're gonna face struggles. You're gonna face hardships.

Speaker 3:

You're going to face something at some crossroad in your life. You know, Jesus even said it in the Bible. I believe it was John 16, maybe 33, somewhere around up in there. That's right, Be of good cheer. I've overcome the world for you. In this world you'll have trouble. So why would he say that we're going to have trouble? We're going to have it. So when that trouble arises, what are you pulling on?

Speaker 3:

to get you through that trouble. Trouble arises. What are you pulling on to get you through that trouble? He, you know he, he will be with us always, even to the end. But you have to have a confident trust, knowing that God is with you, he never leaves you, he never forsakes you, and you just have to know that. You know that, you know, and even in those hard times and those hard moments you got to lean in. I'm talking about leaning like you never leaned before Because, also in a push through season, your emotions, your emotions.

Speaker 3:

You have to be mindful of your emotions in this type of season. We know our emotions are real, but we know they can't be trusted Because sometimes your emotions will just have you just in disarray Because you're so focused on what you're seeing, that thing that's in front of you, that mountain that's in front of you, and it may be so big and so overwhelming that you succumb to your emotions of fear and anxiety and depression and everything else. But you have to understand that God is a God that cares for you even in that rough season, even in that push through. A God that cares for you Even in that rough season, even in that push through season. He cares for you right where you are. I'm just going on and on.

Speaker 3:

I ain't getting you, he do.

Speaker 2:

Hey, have your way, Because I'm enjoying it.

Speaker 3:

I ain't getting you a minute to say nothing.

Speaker 2:

Hey, this is what it's about, I won't go out and interrupt. He cares.

Speaker 3:

You know he cares for you just in that type of moment, so don't ever feel like You're alone in a hard season. He says, cast your cares Up on him. And you know, we were just listening To the song Another Surrender and they sung it at church Sunday, but I've been listening to it all day and you know the song talks about Letting go of things that I thought I found and surrendering that stuff Back over to God. And I think sometimes In our push through seasons when it's hard or difficult, it's because we picked up things that don't belong to us that don't belong to us.

Speaker 2:

So, God have mercy.

Speaker 3:

When you picked up All these ungodly things and these relationships and these other things that God hadn't called and destined for your life. You can sometimes find yourself in a place where, okay, how did I get here? So now I got to push my way out of this season. So now I have to go back and cast this stuff on God. Cast your cares upon him. He's concerned about you. He cares about every aspect, every area of your life. So begin to cast those things back on him and then, okay, god, now you're gonna give me the strength to push through this season, because I know I can overcome this. So I give these issues and these things back to you now I'll give you full access and free reign to get me to the other side. Yay, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil soul. You have to walk through you gotta walk through it through the season.

Speaker 3:

You have to push through the season. You can't stay in the season. You can't give up. You can't faint in the valley, can't do it. You got to push through to the other side because you know it's light on the other side.

Speaker 2:

It's on the other side.

Speaker 3:

The promise is on the other side, but it's only according to your level of push.

Speaker 2:

Your level of push and he gave us the power to fully push Fully.

Speaker 3:

Fully push, not halfway.

Speaker 2:

And the scripture that I keep thinking about and Pastor mentioned this Sunday, also forgetting not his benefits.

Speaker 3:

Bless the Lord, oh my soul.

Speaker 2:

We forget the benefits of being his child. Sometimes he's a beneficial God. Yeah, he's a beneficial God. I was. It was a particular item that I was looking for for the podcast, right, and I'm just searching, searching and searching and searching, and when I'm looking at it, the cost is astronomical to me, because you know what I'm saying. My mama said well, why don't you just ask your daddy to make it?

Speaker 3:

Hmm.

Speaker 2:

I forgot the benefits of being my daddy's child, and he can make it. You got access to the benefits Of being my daddy's child.

Speaker 3:

And he can make it. You got access to the benefits.

Speaker 2:

Full access, being his child. I forgot the benefits Of being his child and then, this season, that I'm in A season of Transitioning to Something that I haven't experienced before my dad, my dad, uh, transitioning to, uh, something that I haven't experienced before my dad, my, in my uh, my dad, my biological dad. Thank god that god gave him as my dad. He has been my hero in this season and just watching him, um, just do things and things I haven't, you know, thought about things I ain't even mentioned. He's so observant, he just he's just doing it. You know I'm saying so, he just pick up my slap slack. So even in seeing him do all of that, I have got the benefits for that one thing of being his child. And my mom said why don't you just ask your daddy to make it? Wow, and I texted him today and asked him Daddy, can you make it? We already know the answer Right, same way. We already know Same way.

Speaker 3:

Same way, we have full access to you, full access. His promises to us are yes and amen.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and amen.

Speaker 3:

He got a book full of promises in his word, already lined up for us. But a lot of us don't go to the promise, to read it, to see what the promise is. To even go and ask him for the benefit, the benefit high, right in your face, right in your face.

Speaker 2:

Plain sight is what it says. And look. The scripture also says look at the enemy trying to take you from me. Come back In Jesus' name, remember his.

Speaker 3:

Lord, holy Spirit, touch right now, lord, there's a fool right there.

Speaker 2:

Either way, it don't matter. There's plenty of scripture to prove that God is who he says he is to us. He said the promise is a yay, and may here go the scripture Praise God. It says no good thing will he withhold from us who walk upright.

Speaker 2:

Come on now how you walking, how you walking, how you walking, he ain't gonna withhold those good things right. And to me, sometimes that walk is more so acknowledging hey, I messed, I messed up, mm-hmm, and I need to. I'm walking back to you now. I forgot this thing. I'm walking to you, I'm running to you, you know what I'm saying. So, and it just was a beautiful thing when my mama told me that and I was like how could I forget? We just got through singing that song. How can I forget what you've done for me? Wow, how can I forget? I also read that scripture and everybody knows I'm a KJV girl. Kjv kind of girl. I was led to read the scripture in the Amplified Classic.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to read it to you, and Psalm 27,.

Speaker 2:

by the scripture in the amplified classic I'm gonna read it to you, and psalm 27, by the way, is the whole chapter is absolutely delicious. Go read it. The lord is the light of my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Whom shall I fear? The whole. It's a delicious chapter. The strength of my life.

Speaker 2:

So go ahead and take and eat, but look at what David says. This is an Amplified Classic. Okay, what would have become of me had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living? What would have become of me? What?

Speaker 3:

would have become of me. You can start right there. You can start right there. What would have become of me? What would have become of me? You can stop right there.

Speaker 2:

What would have become of me had I not believed? Had I not believed? What are you believing? What are you believing? This goes back to the report of the Lord. What are you believing? Whose report are you going to believe? I believe the report of the Lord the report of the Lord.

Speaker 2:

I don't have to say that this is the season that's going to take me out. That's so good. I don't have to say that this is the season that's going to paralyze my push. I'm pulling on the report of the Lord. Now, that's so good, it was delicious to me right there. What would have become of me? What would have become of me?

Speaker 3:

Had I not believed. Had I not believed that I would see. So what do you?

Speaker 2:

believe that you're seeing. Oh my God, what are you believing that you're gonna see?

Speaker 3:

Right. What vision do you have Set before your eyes For your life, even though you may be In the hard place? Do you see yourself After the hard place, or do you see yourself Stuck in that hard place? You gotta see yourself Before you see yourself, before you see yourself, before you see yourself. That is so Now the Amplified Classic. Now that that amazes me.

Speaker 2:

I like that, I like that version. It was delicious. It goes on to say Wait and hope for and expect.

Speaker 1:

Expect.

Speaker 2:

Expect the Lord, expectation, expectation, expectation, expectation, expectation, expect, expectation, expectation. It sounds like an equation to me. You know, you have all these different formulas for whatever my kids and I are studying area, so we've been doing area of a square and area of a rectangle, and all those particular shapes have their own formula, their own equation to get to what's missing, to get to what's missing, to get to what's missing, so the equation is already laid out for us. It says to what Be in expectation of the Lord.

Speaker 2:

Another disinformation of the scripture that says that when the enemy comes in.

Speaker 3:

Here's what the Lord says. Like a flood, I'm going to lift up the standard Every time.

Speaker 2:

If I know that I'm looking at a troubled place or a rough place, my expectation is the Lord going to handle this. He's going to show me what to do, he's going to show me how to get out of here, and I'm going to survive it. I'm going to live past this, and a lot of times we give up, and even how does scripture put it?

Speaker 1:

Give up the ghost in our minds, then it starts to reflect.

Speaker 2:

On our bodies. So that is the equation. There's so many Examples. Look at even Jesus in the garden. This is a rough place. He's about to face.

Speaker 2:

Rough. You hear me, he really is Gonna have to push you and to know that you have the availability To shut all this down. And then he, then he, pushed through For the greater joy. The scripture says that oh my God, who, for the joy, said before him Help Lord, endure the cross, you know, endure the cross. Endure the cross is a heavy. That's heavy. Despising the shame of it. That's heavy. That's a push through. We see the example we also saw about knowing and believing that we was going to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of living. The scripture says these things are written that you may know, that you may know my pastor, my childhood pastor, he used to tell us you got to know that you know that you know.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 2:

And knowing that God has your back is not contingent to what we're going through. Mm-hmm Right, it's not contingent to what we're dealing with situations, weations. We've been placed in when we placed ourselves that part too.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's so. He's such a.

Speaker 2:

He's such a good God. He's such a good God. I think about Um the prodigal son All the time. Man was a fool. I mean he was a fool Bless his Bless his heart. Bless his heart.

Speaker 3:

Bless his cotton socks Is what one of my friends said but he was walking back with all white holes.

Speaker 2:

Look at the position of the father.

Speaker 3:

The man was looking for him.

Speaker 2:

Right Standing on the horizon looking for him. He didn't even find his daddy in the house. Jesus, he didn't have to wake him up. Listen, it's another type of shadow. Just like God, he leave the man in the house To come after the one, to come after the one, and he never, sleeps. Never slumbers. That man was waiting on his son.

Speaker 3:

And just like God waiting on you, he waiting, he waiting on you, he's waiting, even in the state that you in right now. God is waiting on you In this moment, in the moment. He waiting, he's waiting on you, he's waiting.

Speaker 2:

In the moments after this one, the moments that you keep having. He's still waiting. His position don't change toward us.

Speaker 3:

It don't, it don't change toward us, and there's nothing that you have to do To get yourself back to him. You don't have to clean yourself up, you don't have to get yourself together. God is waiting on you. I think that was a place for a sticker.

Speaker 3:

He just wanted somebody to know that he's waiting, and he's waiting With arms wide open and he love you. Just in this moment, as you are in a broken mess, in the state that you're in, in the state state of that, you feel like you want to give up and throw in the towel. God said no, not yet. The time is not now. Jesus, thank you Lord. Yes, he is waiting on you. He said pick yourself up. That's your name. Pick yourself up, even in this. Pick yourself up. Hold your head up. God, pick yourself up, even in this moment. Pick yourself up. Hold your head up. Look to the hills from which cometh your help? The help comes from the Lord, the maker of the heaven and the earth, the one who formed you, the one who created you, my Lord In your mother's womb, the one that knows every number of hairs on your head. God is calling you back to a place with him. He said he loves you. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and push through. Push through, jesus.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, lord. Push through the voice of the enemy Telling you you got too far, push through it. The guilt, yep, the hurt, the hurt.

Speaker 3:

The shame, all of that.

Speaker 2:

Yes, lord, all of the self-sabotage, thank you.

Speaker 3:

Jesus, I love it. The mental anguish, the anguish.

Speaker 2:

The things that happened to you, yes, lord, when you was young, the things that happening to you now, things you've done to yourself, yeah, he, real life, don't care, yeah, about any of that. He just want you, right? He don't care about any of that, he just wants you, right? He don't care about none of that. He wants you and he don't want you to bring you down. Right, he wants you to restore you, to give you joy, to give you peace, to give you new life, to give you a new start. The song says you make all things new.

Speaker 3:

You just got to move forward. She's going to sing so bad on this microphone I know.

Speaker 2:

The scripture says it Sing, sing O'Baron land Water is coming to the thirsty.

Speaker 3:

She stole these songs out here and I just be ready to sing.

Speaker 2:

I told you that's what the scripture tell you Sing O'Baron land Water is coming to the thirsty lord god.

Speaker 2:

We thank you we thank you, lord have your way, my god, today it's it's just uh, it's just a uh, it's just a privilege. That's just the word that I've been hearing all week too. It's just a privilege to be able to pray, to be able to share in with this time, with ava, to be able to commune with him yeah to have that intimacy. That's a very intimate thing for him to even know the number of hairs on your head, like my hair sheds. It's my hair and I'm looking at it and I couldn't tell you the number of hairs.

Speaker 1:

On my head.

Speaker 2:

I couldn't tell you the number of hands that shed Right. That's an intimate God, it is. That's an all-knowing God, an all-powerful God, and he, you know, he know all this stuff Anyway, about us, mm-hmm, he know it anyway and he still don't care, he still don't care, he still you, he's still in that case, you're still the love of his life.

Speaker 3:

My God.

Speaker 2:

The apple of his eye.

Speaker 3:

And that's another thing about God. And I would say, even when you find yourself in a season where it's just difficult or hard or what we call a push through season, even when you do, when you go into those times of prayer, it may be hard.

Speaker 3:

And I'm not going to lie or make it seem like it's easy, because it may be times where you go into that place and because of the weight of what you have experienced or what you have carried, or whatever it may have you to a place where I don't have nothing to say.

Speaker 3:

I can't utter a word, utter a word. But one thing you just got to remember Jesus is at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us daily, and God knows, knows everything, he know all, he see all, and it's back to his love. He's a loving God and he understands that. When you come into those moments and you don't got out, lord, lord, I can't even utter a word. But Lord, here I am, here I am back on this altar again will you meet me right?

Speaker 3:

so, god, I'm just. I beseech thee that you just meet me here, because I don't have the words to utter but, I'm here in your presence just to commune with you, so I'll give you for you just speak and minister to me.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so, um, in some of those moments it'll just be a ministry type of moment where, where Holy Spirit of God is ministering to you because, like I said, you may not have a word, because I know I find myself at times I can't utter a word because, you know, just trying to get it up and off of me, you know, as I'm casting those things on him in that moment, but I'm allowing Holy Spirit to minister to me. Ok, lord, what is it that I need to do? What instructions are you giving to me? So I'm listening for his voice in that moment, as I'm casting those things upon him. I'm giving you this hurt, I'm giving you this pain, I'm giving you this relationship, I'm giving this to you so that I have, you know, the freedom I need to push through.

Speaker 3:

And so you allow Holy Spirit to minister to you in those times and, even if you can't get a word out of yourself, call a trusted friend or a prayer partner or somebody that you know can go to war with you and for you, and who can cover you in that moment, who can be your prayer voice. I would say um in that time, um, just so you can also hear the word of God being spoken over you to help you, maintain and hold you accountable, so that you won't stay in that sunken place, so that you can overcome and get to the other side to get to that promise. So it's not going to be easy all the time, but just know that that moment is going to pass. It won't always be like that, but it's going to be according to your level of faith and your according to your level of trust in God to get through that moment.

Speaker 2:

I. You know what that reminds me, because I was going to say that and I want y'all to understand the way to what she's saying. This is a prayer warrior in our church. She's on, uh, on the intercessing. She has intercessed, intercessed is that a word?

Speaker 3:

you just made it right y'all know what I mean for me.

Speaker 2:

Several times I remember, like sometimes I don't even really tell her, like, what's going on. I just, you know, got in the line, boom, I'm talking about, and you be knowing this Holy Spirit Speaking through her. But I want y'all to understand the weight Of what she said and being in a place where she felt like she didn't know what to say and just let Holy Spirit minister to her, I was in that place as far as I had started, feeling that I didn't feel. I didn't feel, god, you know when I would be praying or whatever, and I was like, you know, are you distant from me? Am I distant from you? Where are you? You know what I'm saying and sometimes I would be in it and all I could say, uh, dealing with frustrations, dealing, just dealing with overthinking, doing a lot of things. Sometimes I could say Thank you, abba. And when I wake up and I be like, well, I really don't know what's going on, lord, and that's what I told him, and sometimes that was all I had. But I knew the people that I could call on, that God gave me and this is what took me To the scripture, when you say A person you can call, that can pray for you.

Speaker 2:

You know, stand in your gap for you. The scripture say a brother is born for adversity, my lord. So it doesn't matter. And your circle don't have to be small, the circle gotta be legit. Come on.

Speaker 2:

It's gotta be legit. They gotta be able to pray for you, and God has given me those. He placed those people in my life so deliciously and so intimately, and don't think you got to have a squad.

Speaker 1:

It may just be one person, maybe one person.

Speaker 3:

So don't go out here looking for five ten fifteen people to pray for you. It might just be one that can hold down the fort.

Speaker 2:

And it's quality over quantity. Come on Exactly, but you know it's a beautiful thing to even have those people in your corner. Ask God for those people. If you feel like you don't have them, watch them pop up, but you got to receive them a lot of times.

Speaker 3:

Because it may not be the person you thank or the person you want. Yeah, but he got somebody assigned to you.

Speaker 2:

He got people assigned. It's so funny. When I first got to Right Way I tell people this all the time I knew immediately that that was going to be my church. I had not gone to church in years and it took it seriously. And when I was going I would visit places here or there and I'd be like that was good church, but it didn't feel like it feel like home, you know. And time I stepped in the door girl, I knew it and it was so strong that I wanted to turn around and walk out because I had got. I had got what's the word I'm looking for? I had got familiar with being an outsider. You know I hadn't orphanized myself Is that a word I had? And I had got familiar with it. I got used to that and I was like Lord now I got to be committed.

Speaker 2:

I was comfortable being an orphan that I had made my own self. I was comfortable being a daughter of Zion. I was comfortable being on the outside and I'm a daughter of Zion Jesus and was comfortable being on the outside. I was like the product. That's why I say a lot of times we see the people in the Bible, they be us, they be us. I was the product of the daughter.

Speaker 2:

Easy. I was like you know what? I got out of there early, went in and I didn't wow a lot, but it was very wild for me to be out of fellowship and when I say wow a lot, that's what I mean. Not to, you know, not to, that's not you know. Shame yeah, I still am, because I'm just not too much person anyway. But that was a big deal for me to decide. Decide that, yeah, it is what it is, and and to get comfortable in that place. But, uh, and I knew it immediately when I came to church and, um, I said all that to say. It is a lot of things happen, but I want to focus in on this one.

Speaker 2:

Um, at that time, mother Washington was with us and, um, she told me, she said now, you know, you came over here and god's gonna give you all the people that you need. Now, he hadn't. The lord gave me people. Naturally, you know already, but it was just a greater, it was just a different, a different scope. You know what I'm saying and every time I think about any time that I done called on you, I send you a text message.

Speaker 2:

Whatever I touch that church, I be putting on a hymn out of town. Yeah, I think about you know with Mother Washington, and how important it is to be in the place that God has for you. You know under the people and surrounded by the place that God has for you. You know under the people and surrounded by the people that he has for you. But again, that goes into Having that intimate conversations with him and just being led by him and not resisting the help. That part I was about to resist the help Because y'all, when I tell y'all, I wanted to run out Because I already knew I felt the time I came in I was, it was it was easy it's still easy for me to disappear all the time hiding their back corner in the shadows.

Speaker 3:

It still be easy. But she be there, but she gonna hide in the back corner. I'll be gone.

Speaker 2:

They be texting me, you still having like Exactly, I be like.

Speaker 3:

I don't even speak To the woman of God, so they be out the door. You gonna catch her In between them services. You ain't gonna catch her Out the church, she out of life.

Speaker 2:

And for real though, like I be trying to give Her space, I be trying to give Pastor space, cause I I know so many people Be pulling on them Right. So when I see Somebody already Talking to them, sometimes I just you know, I say, well, I'll catch them she is right on To that call Right and I just, you know I ease on that, but don't resist the help that you pray for.

Speaker 2:

That's another Another thing. Yeah, we can be calling on the Lord and saying when you gonna help me? I said to him it's right in your face.

Speaker 3:

And you keep turning your back on it. Turning your back, turning it down Because it ain't packaged how you want it, right?

Speaker 2:

Or turning it down, trying to be humble per se baby, Because you want it to be the pastor Right.

Speaker 3:

It's still going to be the pastor all the time. Most of the time it ain't, it's not going to be the pastor Most of the time it's not Most of the time it ain't.

Speaker 3:

It may be a random member in the church, yeah, that may text it. And you know, I've even had those moments before you know where, just a member, somebody will text me, hey, thinking about you, praying, you know, for you it wouldn't be somebody that I would, you know, think that would you know, be interceding for me. But hey, you just never know who God will send to intercede on your behalf.

Speaker 3:

And, like she said, don't resist it, don't turn away from it just because, it's not packaged, or who you think it should be, or who you want it to be Right, you're going to miss your blessing.

Speaker 2:

You're going to miss it, man. It's going to be Right. You're going to miss your blessing. You're going to miss it, man. It's going to be on you. It's going to be on you Like. Think about it Like when Abraham went and he was about to sacrifice Isaac what if he had resisted the ram Woo?

Speaker 1:

Now you done killed yourself for nothing.

Speaker 2:

The ram was there.

Speaker 3:

The ram sitting there, looking at you like the rim was there. The rim sitting there, looking at you like I was right here. I was here.

Speaker 2:

And God said I placed that rim right there For you.

Speaker 3:

But that also comes to Knowing that you know the voice of God. And having that relationship.

Speaker 3:

And that intimacy with him, to discern and know his voice and how he speaks to you, how he ministers to you, how he shows you things. And if you don't have that type of relationship and connection and you are bound to miss, miss out, you're missing all your promises and on some of the stuff he has in store for you. Until you come into that place of knowing and hearing his voice, you say my sheep know my voice and if you're saved and you're a follower of Christ, you know his voice already. You just have to my voice. And if you're saved and you're a follower of Christ, you know his voice already. You just have to just confess that daily I know the voice of my father, god.

Speaker 3:

You said your sheep know your voice, so I belong to you, so I know your voice, and then he'll begin to speak to you in the way that he knows that he has to speak to you. For some people you know it's just like he may have. It may come through reading the word, like reading his word. It may. It may come through a trusted voice, um, it may come to through listening to a sermon. So you just have to begin to lean in unto how God ministers and speaks to you and after a few repetitions you'll know when it's gone and how he deals with you, you will, yeah, and, like you say, it'll be so catered to to you, you know.

Speaker 2:

But you, you gotta, like you say, confess that, that you hear him and that you know his voice and, estranged as what, you will not follow, because why would you, why would you follow a strength? And it brings back to this when we was little Stranger danger. Come on, you know that's a strange voice, right, danger. Come on, I'm following that voice.

Speaker 3:

Right, stranger danger. Y'all didn't sound like my daddy. You don't talk to me like that.

Speaker 2:

Do you know? Somebody can't pretend to be him. I'm gonna know that something is off. Right, look, and this. This is a funny, uh funny thing. Uh, my cousin Ty, she and I sound a lot alike and a lot of times on the phone people would get us confused or mixed up. So it was the running joke, right. Whenever she had a boyfriend I would. I would answer the phone to see how long it would take them To realize that I wasn't Tired. So her husband now Shout out to him because this is hilarious. So we did that with him. I think they've been married now 10 years, 10, 11, 12, somewhere around there, so, so that was even that long ago. So I got on the phone with him and, uh, immediately he knew he knew that I wasn't that tired. I said, dog, we ain't gonna catch him.

Speaker 3:

He was like he ain't finna catch him, we ain't get him.

Speaker 2:

We ain't get him but he knew, so I said that. So that was. That was funny to me. I felt like he was. He paid attention, he was more observant. You know what I'm saying? Cause one of them. I talked on the phone To him for a long time and he finally had to say Hold on. Wow, that was so funny.

Speaker 3:

That deceived the man.

Speaker 2:

The deception. But can't nobody pretend to be my daddy. I'm going to know my daddy's voice and my uncle? He does a really good impersonation of him. He's very good, but I would still know that that's my uncle, that's when they disarm and kick him in.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and that's not my daddy. That's when that disarmament Kept coming in. Yeah, and that's not my daddy, that's my uncle.

Speaker 2:

And even Even my brother and my nephew. They the three of them, my dad, my brother, my nephew Sound alike, but I still know the difference. You know what I'm saying Because I have Intimate relationship With all of them and even though it's very, very close, I still know.

Speaker 1:

That hey.

Speaker 3:

You spent the time. Spent the time with him.

Speaker 2:

That's good you spent that time with him.

Speaker 3:

You got to spend time with.

Speaker 2:

God, you got to.

Speaker 3:

To know his voice properly.

Speaker 2:

That was a great illustration. Yeah, that is what keeps you alive too. That's what keeps you pushing through, because you have to know the voice of the situation versus the voice of God. Come on, that's good, you got to know the voice of the situation versus the voice of God.

Speaker 3:

Come on, that's good. You got to know that's good.

Speaker 2:

He just started yelling, stranger danger.

Speaker 3:

Because this situation will talk you to death To death. Yeah, it'll talk loudly, baby, loudly Like, yeah, like it would drive you insane. It will. But if you don't know the voice of your father and know his word and how to apply that word To their situation, then it'll keep you bound.

Speaker 2:

It'll keep you bound.

Speaker 3:

Because I Trust me, it'll talk loud. It'll talk loud and you have to have something, yeah, to come back with To defeat it. Life and death Lie in the power of our death line the power of our tongue, and if you ain't speaking, nothing out your mouth, but what you see, that's what you're going to succumb to eventually and it may not be a physical death, but it's.

Speaker 3:

You know it's the death. You know spiritual death. You know death to your dreams, death to the vision and the purpose and the plan that God has already established for your life.

Speaker 3:

You know he already has a plan, a plan for you for I know the thoughts that I have towards you says the Lord and so if you allow those thoughts and your issues, you know, to keep you in that, in that pit, you know you'll never walk fully into the purpose and plan that he has already established and preordained and predestined for you. And at the end of the day, that's your end goal. You want to live your life in total totality, in who and what God has called and created you to be as an individual person.

Speaker 1:

Point blank periods you want to go all out for him.

Speaker 3:

You, you want everything that he has for you in this time in this life, not not on the other side. You know you want it now, yeah, so don't allow um yourself to stay in in in the moment. It's more outside of the moment. The moment it's a moment is what a moment in moments. Moments aren't meant to to last forever, because that's why it's called a moment and that's why we shouldn't we let that thing run together like a loop through cycles, cycles, we'll let it run together and we a loop, some cycles, cycles, we'll let it run together and we just don't have to.

Speaker 1:

We really don't have to.

Speaker 2:

The scripture is clear Renew your mind daily, crucify your flesh daily. You know what I'm saying. And that don't even have to be one time a day.

Speaker 3:

It could be as many times as you need it to be, and you feel them thoughts and that stuff creeping up on you, trying to pull you back into that place. Hey, renew your mind.

Speaker 3:

Renew your mind, listen to some word. Put the ear pod in and put some word in your ear. Right, you know, your spirit man is always up, even when you sleep at night. Put some word on, let. Let let a playlist on youtube play with, uh, some soaking music or some scriptures. Uh, for whatever it is that you may be facing, find you a playlist on youtube or spotify or something that you can allow to saturate your environment.

Speaker 3:

Um, and and that's a key point as well in these type of seasons, the saturation. What are you saturating yourself with outside of prayer? What, what else are you saturating your, your mind and your thoughts with? What are you keeping before your eye gaze, your ear gaze? All of that plays a part in um, a push through season. You have to be I'm talking about you got to be focused and just, you know, saturate, saturate, you know, like a sponge, allow those things to just soak into you, like I said, even when you sleep, because the spirit is always up and so you can just put those things on at night and allow that stuff to minister to you while you're sleeping, even when you're at work.

Speaker 2:

Even when you're driving to your car.

Speaker 3:

You know, hey, find ways, because it's out there, we just have to apply it.

Speaker 2:

You do have to apply it and you again goes back to praying and reading, and a lot of times we get into commonality with prayer and with reading and we don't realize, you know, the life-saving power it has, how it has the power to give us fulfillment and everything. And I like to think about it like this right, like there are, there's fire, right, and you have to get rid of the fire different ways, especially depending on the type of fire that it is.

Speaker 2:

So what I feel like we have with the scripture are extinguishers different kinds. That's good. And then we don't even have to just give a general extinguishing, we can get real specific according to the scripture. You know that's in there. So, like we know, with grease fires you can't put water on it Come on. It's going to spread the fire.

Speaker 3:

Okay, fire, okay, fire, fire one.

Speaker 2:

Come on, teach us An invisible fire that you have to put out with a certain phone. Can't use water with that.

Speaker 3:

Right.

Speaker 2:

Come on Some fires. You got to smother. Okay, you know you got to do it out and the scripture is so so particular, yeah, you have to. You have to smother that voice. That's good. You got to smother it. Just kill it. Kill it dead what that lady said uh, what that? What was that? Uh, different world. When duwayne was, he interrupted the Interrupted the wedding and she jumped up and she said Die Just die.

Speaker 3:

I'll be remembering this stuff, I'll watch it for the the moment I can't recall and then be like no.

Speaker 2:

I took that, though I took that I be hearing certain thoughts and I know they don't be mine. I just say die, just die, because it ain't mine and it ain't coming from the Holy Spirit. That's the strangest thing. You have to tell that junk to die. Die, just die. Now in Jesus' name Look and that's what Jesus had to do to Peter. He had to tell him to get behind me and say but he was talking to the spirit that Peter was operating in. You just have to tell it to die Gone on somewhere.

Speaker 2:

Go about your business. Those are the things that you could tell to go to hell. We be telling people my Lord.

Speaker 3:

Go to hell. You still be telling people.

Speaker 2:

The scripture is clear again the weapons of our warfare are not gone.

Speaker 3:

But they are mighty Through the pulling down the strongholds.

Speaker 1:

Cast it down, every imagination, every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so you can't allow anything to exalt itself against the knowledge of God, my God. You can't allow it, cast it down, saints cast it down the scripture is clear. Tell it to die by fire, die by fire.

Speaker 2:

It's just go to hell.

Speaker 1:

You got people to go to hell.

Speaker 2:

No more you tell that thing to go to hell, my Lord. I just enjoy the privilege and the benefits of prayer, even in those moments when I just feel like I just can't. I see somebody text message quit, boop, lift me up.

Speaker 3:

Hey, and it be like that sometimes. It be like that, and there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with that at all. Hey, I'm so glad you prayed for me, for me.

Speaker 2:

It's real.

Speaker 3:

Somebody prayed for me. That's real. That's the time to pray for me.

Speaker 2:

You look at Jesus. Jesus told Peter I pray for you that your faith don't fail you.

Speaker 1:

Come on.

Speaker 2:

I pray for you Come on hey Better get somebody on the line.

Speaker 3:

Better have somebody on speed now At least one person you can call At least one. That's real.

Speaker 2:

You even see people in the Bible who didn't even worship our God, calling on the ones. What they say go and get what his name was, that he was naming. Was it Samuel?

Speaker 1:

Don't let me be wrong when he said go get him, go get him.

Speaker 2:

He don't even worship him. He don't even worship, he ain't even worshiped by a God.

Speaker 2:

He even knew who to call on. It's a, it's a knowing. You just gotta know. You gotta put down that that pride. Tell somebody You'll be a fool not to get the lifeguard. You'll be a fool. You don't want to die, but you want to do what the life said. Come on y'all. Help Lord. You don't want to die, but you want to reach for the wrath. Come on. You want to let the lifeguard save you? Come on y'all. Come on, come'all. Come on, come on.

Speaker 2:

Don't resist the realm, just don't do it, don't resist the realm.

Speaker 3:

My God that a preach. Don't resist the realm.

Speaker 2:

Don't resist, don't resist it. I just I hope that people and we always, and we're always dealing with somebody's, always dealing with something Right, whether it's a small thing or a big thing. And I saw somebody today on Facebook that just said, god, I'm just going to need you. It's going to have to be you that helped me through this.

Speaker 3:

If it ain't you, then who? I ain't got nothing else. Hey, that's what I'm this. If it ain't you, then who? I ain't got nothing else, hey.

Speaker 2:

You, my only option.

Speaker 3:

I ain't got no plan.

Speaker 2:

B you, my only option, only one.

Speaker 3:

It's you or nothing else, and if you don't do it, it ain't going to be done.

Speaker 2:

That's what the son said If God don't do it, it won't be done. But the power is he can do it.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, and he's already done it, he's already done it. This is the vicar that overcomes our world, over the world. Our faith. So again, according to your faith, According to your faith. It's already done.

Speaker 2:

He said we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. The blood part is already spilled.

Speaker 3:

Already, it's already.

Speaker 2:

That part is already taken.

Speaker 3:

We just have to come into it.

Speaker 2:

Gotta come into it.

Speaker 3:

You know, so it was Prayer produces Results. I think it's amplified Makes tremendous. Power available James 3 and 16, so you have to understand that Results are in prayer. Power available available, yeah, james 3. James 3 and 16, so you have to understand that results are in prayer mhm.

Speaker 3:

But again, it's according to your faith in that moment of prayer. So you have the power, you know, to produce the results in your moments of prayer, but you got to remain steadfast until you see the manifestation of it. You just can't give up. And then, once you pray about it the one time, you know you don't have to keep going back and asking for that same thing over and over and over again. You prayed about it. I didn't pray to you, lord. This is what I'm coming to you concerning now. I'm thanking you that I have overcome this. I'm thanking you for my life on the other side of this. I'm thanking you that is well with my soul. I'm thanking you that I've overcome this addiction. God, I thank you that this soul tie is broken. So I'm thanking you that I've overcome this addiction. God, I thank you that this soul tie is broken. So I'm thanking him for my victory. That's already on the other side of this push. So you know, once you laid it before him, gave it to him. I'm thanking him for it.

Speaker 3:

It's done, I'm decreeing the word of God over my life. You know, he said you can decree a thing and it shall be established. So then you have to begin to make declarations yes, you do On what you want to see on the other side of this push. What's my end goal, what's my end result? What's the promise that I am looking forward to seeing when I come up out of this? So you got to make bold declarations of faith concerning my other side and you just can't yeah, you just can't lay down and give up the towel.

Speaker 3:

So this is that's your moment, that's your opportunity to really dig and dig in the word, dig in the scripture and eat the word and write you some confessions on what you want to see on the other side, how you want the other side to look, because, again, his promises are found in his word and it's up to you to go in the scripture and find out. And if you don't know how to find it, google university okay, I'm struggling with x, y and z. How do I overcome this? And you type that in the google universe or in the you version app. You can do a search and it'll pull up scriptures for you for what you may be facing or going through. And then you just use those scriptures and decree god's word. God honors his word. Yes, he does Above his name. So he wants to hear his word being spoken back To him.

Speaker 3:

And so, again, get that bible, get that pen, that pad, your iPad, notepad, whatever you use, and search and write those confessions for your life and for your other side, for the other side, for the other side, for the other side. You got to get to the other side, you got to get it Just like when they was on the boat and they Master, you cannot that we perish. He already told y'all y'all. Going to the other side. It may be rough right here in the sea right now, maybe rocket his boat, maybe rocking back and forth here and now, but you got to have confidence in knowing that on the other side. He promised me the other side and something is greater, something's bigger, something's better for me on the other side. If I just keep my peace and remain at rest, trust God that I'm gonna make it through this and get to the other side. That's right.

Speaker 2:

That's all you got to do and look, it's the enemy trying to get a tickle in my throat.

Speaker 1:

That's so stupid.

Speaker 2:

He's so stupid, anyway, cause I'm still gonna say this Right, die, just die. When I was going through menopause I had the type, the rollercoaster that felt like I was getting out of here.

Speaker 2:

He was trying to take me out, he was trying to kill my mind, trying to. You know, just, it was a lot, and. But I got to the place when I just started, like you said, started eating the word, eating the scripture, right, because I felt like I was losing my mind, honestly, and so I just started saying At first I couldn't say nothing, but I am the healed child of God. When, anytime, those symptoms Was rising up and I felt like I was going to pass out, like physically pass out All kind of things, I would just say I'm the healed child of God. That's the way I started, right. And so then I started reading, I got people to send me Scriptures of healing and I started saying I should live and not die. Come on, I'm gonna see the salvation of the lord and declare you know, uh, what else? What else was I saying? Um, you know the thoughts that you have for me. That's a good, not a real. It's your desire that I prosper.

Speaker 3:

I'm being good with your own life.

Speaker 2:

You satisfy me with long life, you satisfy me. So I started, uh, saying those things, speaking those things the peace of god, which prayers I'll understand and keep my heart and mind, and I had to really focus on jesus yeah and you know what he had already done and I had to really pull on his, his peace in that season.

Speaker 2:

And uh, my sister, take I hadn and stay with my parents and everything had my own place when I was with them, scared, just scared of everything. It was crazy, it was insane, but you pushed through.

Speaker 3:

But I had to push through.

Speaker 2:

It was going to kill me. Oh yeah, it was going to kill me physically.

Speaker 3:

But the key thing that I heard you say, she said she focused on Jesus.

Speaker 2:

I had to focus on him Now that was good right there. I had to focus on him, and for a long time that was all my prayer was I am the healed child of God, and my auntie brought this scripture to my mind too. She said healing is the children's bread. And she said like this I eat the bread. I make sandwiches out of the bread.

Speaker 2:

And everybody know I like sandwiches, so that really resonated with me and I thought it was so beautiful how God even told her to say it to me like that right you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3:

I was like I can do that again. You have to know how God he know how to talk to you.

Speaker 2:

He know how to tell people to talk to you. And then sometimes y'all be sounding foolish when y'all be saying God ain't told me, he ain't told you. You sound crazy. Okay, thank you. Sound crazy and a lot of times you're gonna do things you're gonna do because you won't listen. Right, right, right. Anyway, my auntie told me she said and I eat the bread, I make sandwiches out of the bread. I ran with that.

Speaker 2:

Wow, I ran I can do that let me get these, these pieces of bread. I'm gonna make the biggest sandwich ever you know what I'm saying? Them sandwiches like Scooby Doo Girl. And then the Holy Spirit took me to these scriptures. It say healing is the children's bread. And guess what the scriptures say I've never seen Righteous forsaken.

Speaker 3:

I've seen him begging for bread.

Speaker 2:

It's already mine, it's yours, so the healing bread is already mine. I ain't got to beg for it go back to the benefits another benefit. I'm not gonna deny the power of that room, right, don't do it. But you find that you find those things through prayer. God, give me the people, give me the word, speak to me, minister to me. You know what I'm saying and he knows. He already knows. He knows what we're dealing with. He already knows how to handle it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he do he already know how to handle it. The heart can't be so broken that he can't fix it. He say he's near to the broken heart. He just he. He can do it. And that's what we have to know, that's what we have to believe, even when Jesus found himself, when he was fasting for 40 days, 40 nights.

Speaker 3:

Blessed.

Speaker 2:

The enemy comes to him, try to give him what Bread my, my Try to give him bread, but Jesus, he's stranger danger.

Speaker 3:

Come on, nah, he already knew.

Speaker 2:

He already knew what time it was, he already knew what time and where did he go Back to the word. These things are written.

Speaker 3:

That you may know. He knew that he knew, and he knew that he knew. So the devil couldn't defeat him, he couldn't overpower him.

Speaker 2:

Couldn't defeat him. And this is jesus in a body in a body like us. Come on. Who the temptation?

Speaker 3:

I'm sure he was starving 40 days I'm sure he was I'm sure he was starving.

Speaker 2:

But look at this too what I wish god showed me about that jesus was at the end of of what he was finna do. He was at the end of the 40 days, my God. So, imagine him giving up right at the end For a piece of bread, relinquishing all his power.

Speaker 3:

That's good, right at the end that's so good and that, and I think that go into the, I think the last question that you had.

Speaker 2:

I don't even know what the question was. Let me see.

Speaker 3:

Because I think you were saying something about.

Speaker 2:

Oh, what is your advice to the believer when they feel that their prayers haven't been answered or they feel distant from God?

Speaker 3:

That was.

Speaker 2:

That was a good setup right there, yeah, yeah, it was, you gotta wait, you just to wait, you just got to wait.

Speaker 3:

And I think a lot of people and see wait, it means to stay, stay Mm-hmm Until a particular time or until something happens.

Speaker 2:

Until something happens.

Speaker 3:

And so for a lot of people, they don't want to wait.

Speaker 2:

They don't want to wait.

Speaker 3:

We so impatient, yes, in the waiting game, because you want it to happen right then, right there, right now. And if it ain't happening, the first 10 days, I'm done. But like you said, he was at the end. He was at the end of it 40 day ride. And then just imagine, if he would have gave me, he would have find it you would have find it.

Speaker 2:

What if he would have found? What would?

Speaker 3:

have become of him what would have fainted?

Speaker 2:

What if he would have fainted? What would have become of him? What would have become of us? Yes, in greater, what would have become of us If he would have fainted? Even when we think about the cross, this man could have called allegiance.

Speaker 1:

What.

Speaker 2:

What if he had fainted then he?

Speaker 3:

was at the end of it.

Speaker 2:

What would have become of us?

Speaker 3:

What would have? I don't even want to think about that.

Speaker 2:

I don't want to think about it. He was at the end of it, wow.

Speaker 3:

That was so good.

Speaker 2:

Sometimes we just got to endure and, like you said, we have to wait. And you said I like the words. You said stay, but what are we staying in? We can't stay in the dark place. Right, you got to get in there and stay.

Speaker 3:

Stay in the word.

Speaker 2:

It all tie back in. You got to get in that word and stay. You got to stay in that prayer closet, even if you just going in there. I'm here, lord, wait on the Lord.

Speaker 3:

Wait on the Lord. Be, of good courage Wait on the Lord.

Speaker 2:

That's particular right there Wait on the Lord.

Speaker 1:

Don't wait on the situation, don't wait on what your mind is telling you. Don't wait on what the that is so good that's particular right there.

Speaker 2:

Wait on the Lord. Don't wait on the situation. Don't wait on what your mind is telling you. Don't wait on what the enemy is telling you. Don't stay in that.

Speaker 3:

It clearly told us. It clearly said Wait on the Lord.

Speaker 2:

Wait on the Lord.

Speaker 3:

Be of good courage and he shall strengthen, strengthen, strengthen Thine heart, thine heart, wait, wait, I say on the Lord you got to send that reminder.

Speaker 2:

He said it at the beginning. I got to say it again Right, wait.

Speaker 3:

And then you know another thing. He said he'll strengthen thine heart, and you know, a lot of things manifest in our hearts. So I thought that was good, yes absolutely. And so he'll give strength to your heart. The bible says keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. Yes, so what issues of life have you allowed to taint your heart? My god, so did it.

Speaker 3:

So now, now, you gotta do a heart check and begin to unfilter and uncall those spiritual arteries and get those things out of your heart and give room and space for God to strengthen your heart so that you have the ability to wait, because if you, if you keep all that stuff in your heart, it's going to be hard for you to wait.

Speaker 2:

It's going to be hard because you wrestling. Wait, it's going to be hard.

Speaker 3:

Because you're wrestling with the bitterness and with the unforgiveness and with the anger and with the rage and with everything else that's intertwined in there. So allow God to give you the strength you know. Deal with those unfiltered, unclawed, those arteries, so he can strengthen your heart. Wait, I say on the Lord, you know he'll give you strength. You know Isaiah 41 and 10 fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Yeah, I will strengthen you. I'm a dude, I would. He said I'll help you, I'll uphold you in my righteous right hand, and so you know God is always with us. Because I think the other part of that question says something about what do you do when you feel like he's distant or he's not answering? And you know we said the answer was to wait. But you also have to have a knowing that, regardless of what you feel, because you can't you can't right.

Speaker 3:

You can't trust the feel of a thing, because God is a God that's always there. He never leaves us or forsakes us. So you can't always look for a feeling when it comes to God or when you come to be in your prayer time.

Speaker 3:

You can't always look for goosebumps or if I cried or if I felt something, because it's not going to be like that all the time. And you know sometimes, when you're getting into that place, when he's growing you and you're learning, it may be that more consistent. You may get those unctions and those feelings. But as you begin to mature, it may be times when you go in your prayer and you just like, oh Lord, is you here? I'm telling you Because you looking for an emotion and it's a knowing.

Speaker 3:

I know, that he's here because he told me. He said he never leave me or forsake me. So I know he right there with me. He said he uphold me with his right hand. So he right there with you. But you got to know that. But you got to know. Psalm 16 and 8 says I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, For he is right beside me. Right beside me.

Speaker 2:

Right there.

Speaker 3:

That's what his words say. I ain't write that. I ain't say that. That's what the words say. That's Psalm 16 and 8. Write it down.

Speaker 1:

So when you?

Speaker 3:

get them feelings. He just told you I know the lord with me. They said I know he with me.

Speaker 2:

I know he. Look, even jesus says this. When he went to raise lazarus from the dead, he had been crying and wept yada, yada. But when he started talking he said lord, I know, you hear me, I know, you hear me. Then he went Right to instructing my On what to happen. He called the boy. You got to know that, you know, you got to know, I know, you hear me. I told it was so funny Today and, like I said, the Lord is so funny Because he's so confirming Right and he be, I be, you know, working with my children, with my students or whatever.

Speaker 2:

So one of my babies, she was again, like I told y'all we was doing the area of a square, area of a rectangle. So she was like Ms Tree, I need some help. I said, no, you don't, I'm confused about it. No, you're not, we've been doing this a long time. I said, said look at that, go back in the book. And I didn't even see it Until she left. I told her baby Go back in the book and look at the formula. And we don't go back to the Bible, we don't go back to the book and look at the formula. Now, that's good. I told her go back to the book. Look at the formula and that's everything that you need.

Speaker 2:

Wow, and it's not that I'm not here to help you you got to grow up and I told her I can't hold your hand the whole time now, but when I see you working then I can partner with you. That's good. You got to go in the book. I told her go back a few pages and look at the formula Wow, and do it. That was so good pages and look at the formula and do it. And guess what she did? She did and now she had the confidence. When she see those, those, those things, those squares coming up and she got that missing piece, she look at that formula and she know how to do it.

Speaker 3:

Then you just said a key word Now she got the confidence.

Speaker 2:

Now she got the confidence to do it.

Speaker 3:

This is the confidence now she got the confidence to do this is the confidence, so that built up a level of confidence in her. So imagine if you go to the word which has all the equations and you begin to apply that word and you begin to see the manifestation through your prayers. What kind of confidence, what? Kind of confidence in you, knowing that I went to God's word and he honored his word what he said he was going to do.

Speaker 3:

So that builds up a confidence in you that make you want to keep going back to the word to find, okay, what's next?

Speaker 2:

Because my confidence is up here now, so let me go back over here and see what else he said, because guess what?

Speaker 2:

And applied that formula. Always going to give you the right answer. Come on, it's always going to give you the right answer. Oh, you, using the right formula. And it wasn't that I wasn't there. I'm standing right there with him, standing right there with him and just like God and guess where? I was too In the formula. Come on, because I'm right there still. Oh, my god, I'm still right there. But I told her I can't hold your hand.

Speaker 3:

Wow, we done. Did that too much? Come on, that's good.

Speaker 2:

We done did that formula Too much and you just want me To hold your hand and just give it to you. But I gave it to you already In the formula. Man, that was amazing.

Speaker 3:

So a lot of times.

Speaker 2:

It's not that he not there, it's just we got to grow up Right and we just know he right there when that baby start walking, that baby see you. You know what I'm saying? Right, they see you right there and they trying to get to you, come on, but you can't always be running to them. You got to let them. Let them come, come to you, that's what the?

Speaker 3:

scriptures say and they, they might stumble.

Speaker 2:

They might fall, but they're going to get back up.

Speaker 3:

They're going to get back up and keep coming and you're still right there with them.

Speaker 2:

Wow, still right there with them. That was good.

Speaker 3:

That was a good illustration.

Speaker 2:

I like that. It was so funny when you showed that to me after they had left or whatever. And let me tell you what's so funny. I'm going to be honest. Be honest too. I was kinda irritated Because I felt like she should have known.

Speaker 3:

My God.

Speaker 2:

And we can grieve Holy Spirit Cause we should know.

Speaker 3:

I know that's what I've been saying, so can you imagine, yeah, how he be looking down? He had us like Now, I know they know better.

Speaker 2:

But guess what, at the end of the day, that's still my child, that's still my student, and I still love him.

Speaker 3:

He's still a good little father Right, Still going to show myself faithful and loving to him. Oh Lord, I know he be up there scratching his head like, oh Lord, this one right here.

Speaker 2:

I love her. I love her. I said Lord, I know we ran you out on the right hand of the right. But wait, I gotta show up for me anyway because he say you, the priest that ever liveth the priest that ever liveth my lord. But I do want to thank you for taking the time to come back, of course, with us again. Now you know. You know where your spot is at the top of the season top of the season at the tippy top, the tippy top.

Speaker 3:

The tippy top January, Every time January. I might have just gone and get ready. Put it on my calendar January 2026. I'll be back.

Speaker 2:

Get ready, and we might have to put it on you before then.

Speaker 3:

We gonna see what the said for Lord. Praise the Lord, she might come with a mid-season. Come with a mid-season.

Speaker 2:

I feel a mid-season. You said it, I felt it. Now that's the two witnesses, right?

Speaker 3:

Oh my goodness, I said a mid-season, Well we're going to see what the Lord going to do and what he going to say.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, have your way.

Speaker 3:

Have your way, it's always an honor, it's always a pleasure to come and sit at the round table and discuss the things of God. Yes, I appreciate you.

Speaker 2:

I appreciate you.

Speaker 3:

Thank you for allowing me to grace the stage.

Speaker 2:

Always. This is always a place for you. It is. I can't think of anybody else. And it was funny when Holy Spirit gave to me the first sign and then I almost chickened out and didn't ask him, my God, and then I had to just run to him.

Speaker 3:

I almost texted him and they be like girl, can we reschedule? But I knew that was.

Speaker 2:

I was like I got to push through, don't you be knowing it be the I know?

Speaker 3:

Cause I got up this morning Like uh, uh, it's just one of them days. I'm like Lord. Where is this?

Speaker 2:

When it was a push through moment. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

And, like I said, the emotions, no Maybe Die Get behind me, saying cause this is. This is the day the Lord has made and I will, I will rejoice match them edges back together, got me back together and I'm like, okay, I got to work to do that but yes, yes, yes, I enjoyed it.

Speaker 3:

I pray that something was done or said that would be a blessing to those that will listen to this podcast. We pray that something will be, you know, dropping your spirit, enlighten you that will pull you through and and to your to the next side, to that promise, to the manifestation that's waiting for you on the other side. Don't quit, don't throw in the towel. God is with you, he has your back, he hasn't left you, he hasn't forsaken you, he loves you. He understands the season that you're in. Um, you know all that good stuff. This too shall pass weeping. We're doing the night dear for the night, but joy come in the morning.

Speaker 3:

You know that there is greater on the other side for you. Encourage yourself. You know David had to encourage himself in the Lord and sometimes you just have to take a moment and encourage your own self in the Lord and push your way through. Fight to the end. Get over, get over this hump. You know we, we just started this year. You got so much in store for you for 2025. You can't allow what you're going through in this particular moment to stop the rest of your year, to stop your purpose, to stop your destiny.

Speaker 2:

You got this because god got you oh, you got this because god got somebody. You need to put that somewhere for the people to see it. You got this because god got you, and if he got you, my god who else?

Speaker 3:

who else you want to have you? Who else?

Speaker 2:

who else that reminds me of another song you always make me think Of so many songs, oh goodness. You remember that song? It's old right. The song say If he has to reach way down, jesus will pick you up.

Speaker 3:

Girl I've never heard that one you haven't.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to find it and I'm going to sing it to you, please find it, because that one is that's above my head. Look, when I was a kid, I used to laugh Right Uh huh. Now I don't laugh Cause that's real Uh huh, that's real life. If he got it Reach way down, he'll still pick you up.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you gonna have to Send me that one.

Speaker 2:

I'ma send it to you.

Speaker 3:

I ain't never heard that one.

Speaker 2:

I'ma send it to you. Okay, you gonna like it. You're going to like it, amen.

Speaker 3:

Amen, amen, amen.

Speaker 2:

I got one more scripture right when I was listening to you, the scripture that says remind them of his word right. And we get bold when we remind somebody about something they told us Come on.

Speaker 2:

And it's not that he has forgotten what he said. I believe he gave us that scripture so that we can be bold about what we need to say. Come on, and we believe what we bold about saying Exactly hey, all, right, now you better get in that scripture and be bold about it. He said you can come boldly before the throne of grace, that's what he said Bold.

Speaker 3:

Be bold. You get bold when you feel like Right.

Speaker 2:

Confident. You be bold when you feel like Somebody owe you something, right?

Speaker 3:

Or they said they were going to do something. Yeah, now, god, you said, you said I should have lived With nothing. You said. You said that right there. I'm just letting you know.

Speaker 2:

I'm letting you know. I'm letting you know, but I hope you guys have enjoyed. I hope you guys have enjoyed. I hope you have found something to eat on. I hope you found more strength, more power to get through the season that you may be going through, and not only get through it, but to thrive, thrive and to be able to share.

Speaker 3:

Oh, look at she say Thrive in 2025. Thrive in 2025. Thrive in 2025.

Speaker 2:

Flourish Prosper in the things of the Lord. Thrive in 2025. Thrive in 2025. Thrive in 2025.

Speaker 3:

Thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive, thrive.

Speaker 2:

Thrive Th. Go to the book, look, find it. That's your homework. Tell you like I told my baby look in that book, it's in there, go and see what Goshen is and then receive that over your life. But we praise God, thank God for you coming in and being just such a, you know, willing person, being vulnerable and still Doing the work of the Lord. That's a beautiful thing. Amen. That's a true testament Of Of a child of God.

Speaker 1:

My Lord. It is a true testament. Glory to God.

Speaker 2:

Glory to God in the highest.

Speaker 3:

If it had not been For the Lord on my side.

Speaker 1:

Where we would be here all night. Okay, we will we will you see that?

Speaker 2:

We will, we will be here all night. Okay, you see that. But, um, I hope you guys have found, uh, some peace. I hope you find more instruction for prayer. I hope you find strength, but I know you will. The lord, his word won't turn, return to him void, so he gonna do what he, what he said he was gonna do. You need to find out what he said he's gonna do. Hold on to it, stay in it and we will see you next time you.
