Anxieties and struggles should teach us to depend on the Lord more, not turn away from Him.
As Brody continues to look at Saul’s life with our Snowbird summer staff, he walks through 1 Samuel 13. This is when Saul begins his slide away from the Lord. Every drift starts somewhere, but it will stop at the moment of repentance. Sadly, Saul’s faith eventually weakens through his disobedience.
Christians aren’t called to inactivity. Let’s labor in the work of the Lord, pursue personal holiness, and invest in other people.
