In Luke 9, Jesus revealed his glory in the transfiguration. Throughout history, there have been glimpses of God’s glory being revealed in specific ways. But, there wasn’t a full disclosure. The gospel accounts reveal the Lord’s glory through Christ’s life and ministry.

But, what can we learn from this revelation of God?

Let’s consider the radiating brilliance of Christ’s appearance, the presence of Moses and Elijah, and the disciples' reaction. We must live our lives for the glory of God — knowing one day he will return in glory.
