This summer, at SWO21, our pastors are teaching through the attributes of God. Every week we will walk through the characteristics of God to better understand His nature.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God is unchanging. He is immutable. He can’t change in His nature. If He could change then that means He could improve. 

In contrast, people change all the time in their emotions, decisions, and characteristics. If you’ve been redeemed by Him, God is changing you more into His image every day. His love for you is attached to His character—not yours. You are not consistent. But the Lord is. Let’s pursue the Lord daily and rest in His unchanging nature.
