Fotografiska Tallinn's Podcast
We like to ask questions but we don’t need to answer them. We do not shy away from criticism, believing that debates open up new perspectives. We like to provoke, but the focus is not on provocation itself. Our vision is to inspire a more conscious world.//Meile meeldib tõstatada küsimusi, kuid me ei pea neile vastama. Me ei väldi kriitikat, uskudes, et arutelud avavad uusi vaatenurki. Meile meeldib provotseerida, kuid fookuses pole provokatsioon ise. Me soovime inspireerida teadlikumat maailma.

Episode 5
Tom of Finland is a name that doesn’t need much introduction thanks to his now legendary drawings of hyper-masculine gay men. Once an illegal underground superstar, now considered a national treasure by many, his works have been shown all around the world and his story was made into a feature film in 2017. We are very proud to have just opened the world premiere of his latest exhibition called The Darkroom, which is a collection of photographs, taken by Tom of Finland himself, used as an inspiration for his drawings. This podcast is with Berndt Arell, the curator of the exhibition and the man who found the images.
