Miracles teach us rich spiritual truths.

In John 6, Jesus engaged this man’s will. He challenged the pride of self-pity and self-loathing by offering him a new identity. He offers us this same new identity (in Himself). The God who saved you is sovereign enough to overcome your will.

Get up and walk. Receive your new identity by grace through Christ and walk forward! This man didn't lay back down once he was healed, neither should we. Jesus showed up and overwhelmed his spiritual condition.

Be obedient. Walk in the power and confidence of God.
