- In general, when you are personally inspired/inclined to do something, how likely are you to ultimately accomplish your goal? Share a time when you followed through on your motivation and 'made it happen.' Conversely, share a time when you had good intentions, but ended up not reaching the finish line.
- When you hear the word training, what thoughts feelings, and/or experiences first come to mind?
- In your own words, how would you differentiate between trying vs. training?
- Read 1 Corinthians 9:24-26. Are there any aspects of your faith/spiritual life that would be helped by adopting a 'Be Trained' approach? What would that look like for you and what would your next step be?
