- Do you think of yourself as an 'independent; and 'self-sufficient' person? Why or why not?
- Read Luke 12:13-21. What do you take from the parable [story] that Jesus shared with the crowd? In what ways can you relate to the landowner in the story?
- What does financial freedom mean to you? How do you seek security, comfort, and status with your money and resources?
- Do you ever 'worry' about your money/resources? When and why?
- What would it look like for you to move away from self-reliance and step toward greater dependence on God in this area [i.e., gratitude, generosity, other]?
